A week passed since the fun trip and reality came crashing down to the boys like a Monday morning. Neither School or studies waited for them, nor did the upcoming fall tournament. San MaRoo was in the midst of practise, and he was close to crush YoonJae's skull in his hands.
"Come on, one more game," YoonJae seethed, sweat dripping down his forehead.
"No."
"Do you want to win or not?"
"We have to be alive to win."
YoonJae huffed, tired, but wanting to play more. And his team mates understood what was happening. YoonJae had a love problem. It often happened, and the students sympathized with the victim, no matter how cliche it sounded. Poor lonely soul, heartbroken and sad, wanting to release his frustration in sports.
YoonJae's teammates stood up and lined up to pat on his shoulder one by one and offer him their deepest regards before starting to make fun of him.
"So... I heard you got dumped, Captain?"
"He actually got slapped, considering what a top class stalker he is."
YoonJae's brow ticked in anger.
"Quit the unhealthy habits Captain," his teammates were enjoying poking at him. "You shouldn't be focusing on relationships when you're so bad at studies."
"Silence!" YoonJae boomed, but that had no effect for everyone continued to laugh.
"Yo MaRoo," Song ChaEon called, "what happened to that Yoo boy? Isn't he here today?"
"No..." MaRoo whined, his invisible tail curling sadly.
"Hey Cap, can I go home now? I've got a date today, unlike you."
"Yeah me too, I've got to complete my homework, unlike you."
"Go before I crush all of you," YoonJae muttered and turned away, storming off to the showers with quick steps. The shower rooms were private, and had geysers attached to the faucets. Their coach had left already and the boys were on their own, fumbling around. Fall tournament wasn't very far away, and some of them were desperate for making it to the national team.
MaRoo finished changing and slung his bag on his shoulder, muttering a few words of goodbyes to his teammates. Locker rooms didn't do much good for MaRoo. And their talks about who had grabbed a date with which particular chick of RGH made MaRoo feel all over the place.
