"I won't bore you with pleasantries, I am going to get straight to the point." She hadn't even sat down, she was too impatient which was to be expected considering she hadn't had any information on Julie yet. "I am sure all of you are aware of what happened to me, and you are all aware of what happened and what I am going to say, I can see Fujino has chosen to be absent, and you can get what i am about to say, If you are uninterested in joining me,

The 29-year-old, yet acting more childish than the child across from her, pursed her lips in dismay. When it came to war, there were benefits and disadvantages, and if she were to join the sanguinary battle, it will end up with her head on a stick - of course, she knew that she was at a disadvantage.

The green-haired woman shook her head from side to side, as to indicate a residual. Parting her lips, she said with a semblance of a frown in her words, "Unfortunately, I won't be participating on the front lines. But, before you jump to a conclusion, you will have to know that I will aid you from the shadows."

There was a ceremonious grin plastered on the childish woman's fair face, "You have my half support, kid, so don't die easily."

Yomi glanced at her, half was better than nothing, she just had to be careful, someone like this couldn't be used as easily. "Since no one else has stood up I am assuming you all know what you are signing up for, If i fail you all crash and burn with me."

Bando smikred, his eyes meeting hers, she couldn't help but feel her mood brighten, this guy's face seemed familiar but she couldn't pinpoint it, but seeing his smirk make her feel more confident, she was still a child but she still had to keep going, she was the one who stepped into this world, no backing back now.

"In that case, please keep yourselves safe, I will send my personal assistant to contact you on preparations to make, in exactly two weeks I will destroy that motherfucker."

"Sechan." She slammed her office door behind her, picking up a few scrolls she had spent time writing up, "I need you to personally deliver these scrolls to the following Mazoku, I need you keep note of their reactions or any hesitance you pick up, I trust you with this."

Sechan whirled out of a shadow in the corner of a room, as if he had been waiting for Yomi's command, the tall figure appeared right behind her. About like three heads above her, Sechan easily reached for the scrolls in her hands, then lifted them out of her tiny hands. His pinky ambiguously brushed past her palm.

"Your wish is my command, mistress," Sechan's voice, deliberately lowered as always, to highlight the sensuality of a human's temptation. Though inwardly, the overly confident, and assertive man, grimaced at the amount of work that was piled down on his shoulders. Sechan killed for the coin. He wasn't a messenger boy. Perhaps if he hadn't become a full-fledged assassin, he would have likely become a courtesan.

Then, as if he hadn't been in the same room as Yomi, with a presence as light as a chicken's feather, no one knew when, or how he disappeared, but the moment Yomi whipped back, the man was gone.

Once he left, she opened her draw bring out scrolls that looked exactly similar, she didn't know who to trust yet, this was going to be her opportunity to test that, she raised her voice a bit more to make sure she got the attention of any servant waiting outside her door, "Get me Kakazu and Toran!"

"Yes Lady Yomi" the young servant answered. As she quickly went searching before coming to a stop. "Oh I forgot to ask where they were" she said as a long sigh escaped her lips.

After a while of searching she gave up "I'll just have to ask Senor Kai"

The servant walked down a hallway connected to the main building where she saw the white haired man sorting files in his office. With a knock on the wall "Umm, Sir?" the man without looking up spoke.

"Is there a problem? If so ask my assistant" while reading a document.

"No, no, I was just wondering if you have seen Kakazu and Toran around?"

"Last time I saw them they were making noise in the kitchen, go check there"

"Yes, thank you!" as she quickly ran out of the room.

"Troublesome" he murmured.

*With Toran and Kakazu*

"Ok 50k this time" Toran spoke up.

"I said no" Kakazu said with a frown.

"Come on 70k, just tell me how you got your immortality"

"For the last time no, now let me eat in peace" as he rose the fork to his mouth

"I'll find out whether you like it or not" Toran mumbled.

Soon the servant came bursting through the door (Literally - Ashey)

"Master Kakazu, Captain Toran!" the servant shouted seemingly out of breath.

Kakazu growled "Why can't I just eat in peace"

Toran spoke "What's the matter?"

As her eyes looked at Kakazu before "The Lady requested your presence immediate...ly" landing on Toran whose mask was removed. Suddenly a blush spread across her face "T-there is something she wish t-to to discuss with you".

"I see lead the way" Toran said as he got up from his seat as he began to leave the now doorless room, "Aren't you coming" as he looked back at Kakazu.

"I'll catch up with you later" Kakazu said as he began to eat.

"Suit yourself" as he followed the girl but not before mumbling "Grumpy old man".

As the 2 walked down a hallway in silence countless thoughts raced through the servant head 'Was Toran always like this?' 'I mean I haven't seen him without his mask but still' 'Who knew he looked like that' she began to quietly mumble.

Toran who was watching spoke up "Have I seen you before?" This broke her train of thought.

"Huh?" with a surprised look, "Oh no we haven't met before, well not directly," she said softly.

"I'm Toran," the warrior introduced himself, not wanting to waste anymore valuable time. He was stone-faced, cold, and unfriendly, and somewhat intimidated her. However, she was taught to never judge a book by its cover.

"Uh, I know," she smiled abashedly, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. A little perturbed by his straightforwardness, she found it a bit difficult to proceed making small talk with him, since she was already meek by nature. She fumbled with the hem of her shirt, biting down on her lips

"I-" She started

"You-" Toran had also begun.

Their disorganization brought out a giggle from the shy girl, and she laughed into her hand. Her eyes curved as she spoke,

"Ah, I'm so sorry! I'm really not myself today. If that offended you, then I apologize deeply."

"No," Toran replied almost immediately. His solemness made the other girl smile a little, "You don't have to apologize. That will only make me seem like a bad person. I don't want you to think of me as a tyrant."

Before she could reply, the duo had already reached the door. A little disappointed, yet not wanting to waste the time of a precious figure like Toran, she said in a meek voice, "Well, we're here..."

"Oh yes, well uhh it was nice talking to you" Toran said, not taking his eyes off her.

"Yes it was a pleasure, excuse me" she said as she bowed and began to leave.

As Toran was about to open the door he spoke up "Wait, what's your name?"

As she turned around hand behind her back with a smile she spoke "Ayaka, Ayaka Omezo" before finally walking off.

With a knock at the door Toran waited for his que, then a voice came out "Come in". Toran opened the door to see Yomi sitting down reading the contents of a letter with a troubled expression.

"My lady, is there a problem?" Toran questioned.

"Ah none at the moment" she replied, "Is Kakazu not coming?".

"He said he should arrive soon".

"Well anyways ... I need you to deliver these scrolls to the following Mazoku". She handed him the identical scrolls meeting his eyes, "these are top secret, do not, under any circumstances allow anyone to intercept these scrolls, do you understand?

"Yes Miss I shall leave right away" Toran said before disappearing into thin air.

Once he had gone she couldn't help but smirk to herself. "What do you want, kid?" She turned to Kakazu who had finally made his way here, opening the draws again she pulled out a single scroll which she had locked with some jutsu the academy had thought them, it was such a weak jutsu it was had to believe the document was anything important, the other scrolls were locked by Kakazu and so needed a level of knowledge about such jutsu to open, she couldn't even open the scrolls, they were just traps.

"Here" she said tossing the scroll to him, "Take it to our allies, do not leave until they have received their own piece of information." As she was saying that she took the token from her desk and handed it to him.

"This is?"

"This should allow you to access my new business venture, the bank, you should be satisfied with the amount of money there, this will be your last mission and your last payment."

She didn't explain any further, she didn't need to, he smiled, "In that case, it was a pleasure working with you" Her smile wavered, it was mildly upsetting but she was confident she would be able to see him in the near future. She had to get more independent, at least to protect herself from petty thieves and assassins.

Then she would be able to buy him formally from the akatsuki.
