Kind of Frozen AU
Whenever Kyle's father took the cakes or whatever to the castle, he was allowed to come along too.
The King and Queen had a son, who was much more than an ordinary prince. He had ice powers. There was another son Andrew but Kyle was mainly friends with the future king.
But then it happened, Kyle wasn't there and he was never told until later, by the parents. "Danny?" He knocked on his door and he didn't get a response so he checked the library.
Nothing, he sighed and left. All the information he got was from Andrew, nothing else. He didn't go back.
Until of course the coronation. His father and mother baked one of his favourite cakes (amount other favourites) so he was going for the food.
He went along with Will and Woody, " Remember that time he made us sit through both seasons of Twin Peaks." All of their conversations going to the castle was about Dan and usually started with "remember that time".
They were standing beside the food tables, Kyle looked up. "I'm going to talk to him" he declared and without getting a reply, he started walking to the king before losing confidence and walking away.
Tried to. A gloved hand grabbed his shoulder making him stop. He looked behind his shoulder and he was sure his eyes widened, puberty was very kind to Dan. "Kyle, you look nice" ohhhh his voice. Yes. "Thanks, you look better" Gosh, Kyle. Your flirting skills are just wonderful.
They continued talking, Kyle remembering the crush he had on him and Dan unknowingly flirting with him. Until Andrew came with a guy, Hans.
