Dan's parents were staying over for a week. Kyle sat in the room with them as Dan was in the kitchen.
"Daddy!" Dan called and naturally, both Dan's father and Kyle called out "yes?"
There was an awkward silence, Kyle couldn't even hear anything in the kitchen. They sat there for a while until Dan's mother said it was time to go to bed.
