Dan felt anger at Kyle's girlfriend or whoever, he didn't actually know if they were dating or if they just liked to be all cuddly and close when he was in the room.
They walked to a bar, Kyle was texting her the whole time. Finally when they got in, Dan slide anyway into the crowd. He lost sight of Kyle and ordered beer.
