They met at a mental asylum, in the activity room. Kyle had sat beside him and ranted his heart out, Dan had sat there and watched. Not saying a word.
Their second meeting was when they were allowed outside, he sat with Dan and made him a flower crown. Dan wore it until the flowers died.
Their third meeting was in the hallway, when Kyle managed to get Dan to say his name. After he did so, he left back to his room.
Their fourth and last meeting was in the activity room, they held hands and smiled at each other. No one noticed.
Later that night, they found Dan's body hanging from the roof. No one ever found Kyle.
