Entering the boutique, Draco's eyes immediately widen at all the dresses on mannequins and every single wall covered in over flowing racks. Hermione's eyes sparkle at the thought of trying on each one to find the perfect dress for Gavin.
"Please tell me you already know which one you're getting." Turning back to look at him, she blushes madly and her smiles grows.
"Isn't this exciting! All these dresses to try on! Eeee!! I don't think I've ever been this excited!" Softening his disgusted face, he puts an arm around her shoulders and sighs.
"Guess we better get started then.
"Ah! Are you my 9:30? You must be Hermione and Gavin." Draco grumbles under his. Death and Hermione giggles and shakes her head.
"Oh...no- this isn't Gavin- this Draco, my friend. I'm Hermione." They shake hands and the Latin descendant woman smiles flirtatiously at Draco- who hardly notices, but Hermione notices right away.
"Well I'm Amelia and I'll be assisting you. Do we know the style? Or make?"
"Um, I'm sure actually. I want something elegant...um not too showy and I don't know um...definitely white not ivory or creme." As Hermione describes her likes to Amelia, Draco has wandered off to look at dresses- which all seem overly priced and very ostentatious. "Draco? What are you doing?"
"Dresses....lots of dresses. Well let's get on then." Leading her clients back to the lounge area, Amelia hands both of them some white wine and opens a dressing room for Hermione.
"Now, I believe I have a few you may like. But feel free to find whatever you like and just put a red clip on it and I will pull it for you." Walking around sipping their drinks, Hermione's riding boots click on the floor as pulls dresses out a bit from the rack to look at them.
"I like this one." Turning to look at him, she finds him holding a very minimalist and...revealing dress in his hand.
"No. Absolutely not."
"What? You may actually look decent in it."
"Is that a dig at me or the dress?" Shrugging, he puts it back and she clips two dresses. Draco, who has migrated to the opposite side finds several dresses that would look fabulous on Hermione- if she wasn't such a prude. Then his eyes catch one- very untraditional, but very well crafted and beautiful- turning to see if anyone is looking, he puts a clip on it and walks back to the sofa. "Ready?"
"Sure. Go change." He says and she grumbles slightly at his uncharismatic demands.
Now it's no mystery that Draco isn't one for waiting- especially when it doesn't benefit him in the slightest, but he bites his tongue and endures the suffering he's going through as Hermione tries on- dress, after dress, after dress, after dress and so on and so forth.
Each time she comes out, he finds things he doesn't like about it.
Too matronly.
Too short.
Too long.
Too retro.
Too modern.
Too casual.
Too fancy.
Nothing seems to please him and Hermione and Amelia are slowly losing patience with him.
Coming out in a mermaid style dress, beads garnishing it from the heart shaped bust down to the fluffy tulle that has a slight glitter dusting to it.
"I really like this one." Gazing in half circle of mirrors, Hermione admires herself in this dress. After trying on so many- this one is set apart from all the others. Draco, who has decided to clip the tiara veil on his head and toss the fake bouquet of flowers in the air and catch them repeatedly- looks up and turns his head at her.
