Sixteen.

I woke up at exactly 6:30 am, Luna was still peacefully sleeping next to me, and I just caressed her hair. She looks so peaceful, I didn't want to disrupt her. 

I slowly stood up, and went to the bathroom. I showered, since I am going to have a long day. After a good shower, I checked my phone for notifications. 

I got a text from my father's secretary, reminding me that I have to visit the office today for the BOT meeting, since I am returning as Vice President of the company. I took out something causal yet formal. 

I stepped out of my closet, and saw Luna wrapping herself around the blanket. "Baby?" I called her. I walked towards the bed, and sat down. "Baby, it's time for you to wake up," I said gently patting her. 

"Mommy, just five more minutes," she replied. "You have to get up, lovey. I asked Nana to make your blueberry pancakes," I said, and her eyes immediately opened wide. "Really, mommy?" she asked. 

"Yes, my dear. Now, why don't you go shower first?" I replied. "Okay mommy," she replied and stood up from the bed. 

"I'll call Nana, to help you," I said, and left the room to call Nana. I left my bedroom, and went to the living room. 

"Good morning, Catie. Your real estate agent sent you these papers," Anders greeted me. "Thank you, Anders," 

I said and picked the brown envelope, containing the deed to the house I purchased. 

"Would you like coffee, Catie?" 

"Yes please, the usual," I replied. "Alright, anything else?" "That would be good, Anders. I believe Nana already made us pancakes," I replied. He left the living area to go to the kitchen.

After breakfast, Luna eventually got dressed, and we went to the garage. I double checked her bag to ensure that she has all the things she need. 

"Luna my dear do you want to bring more chips?" I asked her. 

"No, mommy that's alright. I had a lot for breakfast," 

"Where are we going though, mommy?" she asked as I strapped her on the car seat. "We're going to Uncle Johnny's dear," I said. 

I got in the drivers seat and buckled my seatbelt. 

"Yay!! I'm finally going to see Uncle J again!" she replied.

 The last time she saw Johnny was her 3rd birthday. I started to drive, and it felt weird since I haven't driven in Singapore for quite some time now.

 Luna was busy playing with her toys It was a good 45 minute drive from the manor to Johnny's office. I sent him a quick voice memo that I was already near.

 I finally arrived at the building, and parked my car near the lobby. We got off my car and walked towards the entrance. As soon as I entered the building, I could feel the people looking at us.

 Well oh well, people really love drama. The elevator opened and Johnny came out. Luna was giggling when he saw Johnny. 

"Uncle J!" Luna said, as she ran towards him.

 "Hi, baby" he said and carried her. 

"Hey princess, what's up?" He said and gave me a hug. "I'm great, Johnbear, thanks for asking." I replied. "So how are things for you today?" He asked, while carrying Luna in his arms.

 "Stressful. I have to go to the office as well and check on the paperwork for the house," I replied sighing. "Nah, you can do it, princess." He said, reassuring me.
