Sandwich [ Wong Yukhei ]

Twenty.

After taking their photo, Luna was playing with her iPad. Yukhei was busy looking through his phone when I got a call from Jaehyun. I picked it up. 

"Hi Jae what's up?" I said. "Hey Catie. I'm flying back to Singapore tomorrow, "He said.

 "Oh, that's a bummer. I'm flying to Dubai and I won't be home till next week," I said, looking at my nails. I could notice that Yukhei was listening to our conversation. 

 I just let him be. "Oh really? I'll just call Johnny then," He said. "Yeah, you should go call Johnny. I'll hang out with you and Luna soon," he said. 

"You better. She misses you though," I said as I chuckled. "Alright, have a safe flight," he said.

 "You too, I'll see you soon," I said and I ended the call. "If you don't mind me asking, are you and Mr. Jung dating?" he asked. I just scoffed at his statement. Jaehyun already has a girlfriend. Why does he want to know the deal between us? 

"Why are you asking me this?" I replied. 

Nevermind," He said and continued looking at his phone.

We waited for a good five more minutes at the lounge when one of Yukhei's bodyguards told us that it was already time for boarding

. "Luna, baby it's time for boarding," I said as I took her backpack. Luna was getting sleepy and she wanted to be carried so I carried her. 

"I'll hold your purse for you," he said and took my bag. I just nodded and carried Luna in my arms. I just know that Yukhei's a great dad to my Luna and I'm thankful for that. 

There may still be some things that we need to talk about, but I'm grateful that he's here now and he's willing to spend time with her.

We boarded the plane and I strapped Luna on her seat. She was already fast asleep. The plane eventually took off after a few minutes. Yukhei was just scanning through his emails, and I was busy checking on my belongings.

 I had to make sure that I had everything I needed. "They'll be taking orders for dinner, what would you like?" Yukhei said.

 "I'll just have the chicken meal," I replied. "Would you like me to ask them to take the peas out?" he said. I can't believe he still remembers that I don't like eating peas. 

"Yes please, that would be nice," I replied. He ordered on the iPad that was provided by the plane. After ordering, the food shortly arrived. 

The stewardess served us our food. I got my chicken salad, and I honestly didn't like the smell of it. I took little bites of my food, not wanting to seem like a picky eater.

 Luna was still fast asleep and Yukhei is enjoying his angus steak. 

I did not want to finish my food. He seemed to notice what was happening. "Is your food bad?" He asked looking at me.

 "No, I just lost my appetite," I said. 

One of the things that I hate about flying is that I lose my appetite. "Are you sure you don't want another meal?" He asked looking at me. 

 I was just playing with my food. "No, I'll just ask the stewardess something later if I get hungry," I said. He just nodded and continued eating his meal.

 After a few minutes, my eyes started to close. I was getting sleepy so I decided to get some sleep.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking, we are now only thirty minutes away from Dubai International Airport. I would also like to take this opportunity to say hello, to my cousin, Wong Yukhei. "Ahia, li ho bo?" Anyways, thank you for flying Singapore Airlines and I hope you have a great time here in Dubai."
