My name is Catalina Anne Chu. The only child of Bernard and Eleanor Chu. I'm the one and only heir of Panoramic Enterprises, the largest real estate and technology company in all of Singapore. I know what you're thinking, but no I am not a spoiled brat.

I'm currently 21, studying Psychology at Oxford. I was born and raised in Singapore, but for the past six years of my life, I have been living here in London.

Life's really great here in London, I live in a mansion, have drivers, bodyguards and servants, but the thing is I want to have a normal college life, live in a dorm, partying with friends, taking public transportation but if you're an only child, that would never happen.

I couldn't even stroll around London alone without bodyguards behind me.

Well I do have a best friend, her name's Charlotte. She also is from Singapore. She was the very first friend I made here in London. Her father is my dad's business partner.

*ring ring* My phone suddenly rang. I looked at the caller id and it was my mom.

"Hi Ma"

"Hello darling, are you free for next week?"

"Not really, but my schedule isn't that packed. Why?"

"I was just wondering if you could go home next week. The Shangs are having a banquet."

"Oh, sure I'll try to fit it in my schedule."

"Okay mom. I have to go now. Bye and I love you."

"Bye, love you too."

Today is the day I fly back to Singapore. To be honest, I really dread this day. I don't want to be in Singapore because all I get is pressure from why I don't have a boyfriend.

Well I used to have one but then I realized that having a boyfriend really is something. All the gossips and the issues, I just didn't enjoy it.

I used to date Marcus Ma; he was my middle school sweetheart. We eventually broke up because our families don't want us to be together.

Ever since that happened, I didn't dare to date again. I was traumatized and didn't want that to happen again. I have turned down so many eligible men because of my fear that my dad would do something to them. I entered the airport at 6pm.

My flight is at 8pm, so I still had quite a lot of time to relax and have dinner. After all the security procedures I finally got to the waiting area. I found a sandwich place, and I decided to have a tuna sandwich for dinner. I walked near to the stall.

"Good evening madam, what would you like to have?" the lady asked me.

"Hi, I would like to have a tuna sandwich with lemonade please." I replied

"That would be £8 madam." She replied and I tried to look for my wallet in my purse.

"Tuna sandwich to go." A voice suddenly said. He is a very tall man, wearing luxury brands, head to toe. I could definitely tell that he is an elite.

Well I am an elite, but I prefer to lowkey and not wear too much name brands. He took the sandwich and left £8 at the counter. Agitated, I called him.

"Excuse me sir," I called him.

"Yes? What do you need?" He replied and he was obviously judging me. I am only wearing sweatpants and an oversized hoodie with my slip-ons since it is going to be a long flight, I want to be comfortable as possible.

"I'm afraid to say that sandwich is mine," I said while pointing at his hand.

"Excuse me? I already paid for this!" He replied. This is why I hate people like him. They feel so entitled because they are rich.

"But before you took it, it was supposed to be mine and I was supposed to pay for it." I snapped back. I really wanted that sandwich, because I didn't want to walk all the way to Starbucks, which is at the other gate.

"Whatever, it's already mine." He replied and walked away. I am so pissed. He is so inconsiderate.

After that tiny feud I ended up eating a burger from a local café and sweet tea. I sat down at my boarding gate and checked the time, it was already 7:45 so boarding might start anytime soon. I got inside the plane and went to first class.

If I was the one who booked this ticket, I would definitely book an economy class ticket since I really don't enjoy wasting a ton of money for a airplane ticket.

Even if you sit in first or economy class, it's still the same thing, you're still going to get from point a to point b. After I settled in, the plane boarded after a few minutes.
