"Who's Jack?!" Kaalaflax snarled at Steven, who flinched in fear.

"Dad, please..." Steven begged, whimpering.

"Dad?!" Kaalaflax yelled. "WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME DAD?!" He demanded. "Ughnnn...." He groaned as he gripped his forehead. Suddenly, memories started to rush in into his mind as if a locked door was being opened of locked memories. "What?!" He yelled. He banged on the walls, making holes as he started to hyperventilate. "GET OUT OF MEEE!!!!!" Kaalaflax demanded. "STOP!" He yelled. He punched his head and shook it as he panted and breathed heavily. "Y-You see..." He panted as he approached the terrified boy. "You see... for a couple of days now... I feel like... something's trying to take control of me..." He panted as he growled at Steven. "AND I'M NOT GOING TO LET IT WIN!" He roared. "It's you... you're filling up my head... and it is so... Vexing..." He huffed. "Why is it you?!" He growled, as he gripped Steven by the hair.

"Mmmmnn..." The terrified boy whimpered as he grabbed Kaalaflax's hand that was gripping his hair. "Please, stop..." He sobbed out, begging him.

"WHY ARE YOU FILLING MY HEAD?!" Kaalaflax demanded answers. "WHO ARE YOU?! WHAT ARE YOU?! WHO ARE YOU TO ME?!"

"P-Please..." Steven begged.

"I SAID WHO ARE YOU TO ME?!" Kaalaflax yelled louder.

"I'M YOUR SON!" Steven yelled. "I'M YOUR SON!"

"You? A weakling like you?!" Kaalaflax snarled, as he witness tears running down Steven's eyes. Tears of sorrow and fear escaped his eyes as his eyes met with Kaalaflax's. "Who would want to be your father?"

"Dad Please-"

*SMACK*

"I'M NOT YOUR DAD!" Kaalaflax yelled, Steven began to wail, as he placed one hand on his cheek where Kaalaflax had slapped him. "Weak... inferior... pathetic species..." He spat out. "You're nothing... you're worthless... weak..." He huffed out as he released Steven from his grip. "You're not worthy of being my son... or anyone else's son as a matter of fact." He turned around, putting his hands behind his back. "Take him away..." He commanded, as out from the dark, two parademons appeared and grabbed Steven, as they started to carry him away.

"NOOOO! DAAAAD!" Steven yelled, as he tried to get away from their grip. "DAAAAD! PLEAAAASE!" He begged, reaching out as the doors closed. "No..." He wailed. The parademons, traveled down a massive hall then a flight of stairs to what looked like the ship's brig. As one parademon pressed buttons, which made a door open. The door slid open, as the parademon threw the boy into the dark room, closing the door behind him. "Ooof..." Steven grunted as he landed on his side, with his Dad's scanner dropping from his pocket as it clattered on the floor. "Hgnn..." Steven groaned as he got up. He reached for the scanner, as he moved and sat, leaning his back against the door. "Mmmmnnn..." He whimpered as he held Jack's scanner in his hand. Tears rushed down his cheeks as his body was wracked by an onslaught of chest-tearing sobs and sniffles. "Dad..." He wailed, as he hugged what to him was the last living memory of his father.

"Y-You okay, boy?" A strange voice greeted Steven from the dark, surprising him.

"H-Hello?" Steven gasped as he sniffled, looking towards the dark.

"What are you doing here?" Another voice alarmed Steven.

"U-Uhmm..." Steven stammered out.

"Hey, hey..." Another voice joined in. "He looks familiar, doesn't he?"

"Yeah, he does..." Another voice agreed. 4 figures appeared from the dark, as they approached Steven.

"Stay away!" Steven pleaded.
