After a while, when most of the guests have left, Damian, Rachel, Gar and Jon went inside and into the living room to chat. Damian was already drunk thanks to Dick and Jason, who forced him to drink. Jon being a 'simp' according to Gar, was just drinking iced tea.
"I can't believe it..." Damian shook his head. "All these years... we lived together... I basically taught him everything that I knew about being a proper human being... but he doesn't tell me he has a girlfriend?" Damian scoffed, finding the situation of Jack having a girlfriend, unbelievable.
"Damian, they've only been official for a month..." Rachel reasoned.
"He could've told me..." Damian took a sip of his alcohol.
"Remember when you had feelings for me?" Rachel asked him. "You didn't tell him... or anyone... I knew... because I read your mind." She smirked.
"You had-?" Jon gave a look of disbelief to Damian. "Unbelievable..."
"Uhh.... uhh..." Damian stammered, finding an unused excused in his brain, but his brain wasn't really working. "It was only for a short amount of time, beloved..."
"It lasted for a year..." Rachel pointed out.
"Dami..." Jon looked at him. "Did anyone else know?" he looked to Rachel.
"Jack." Rachel pointed out. "But Damian didn't tell him... he found out on his own... That's what happens when you train someone to be almost as good as you in detective skills..." She chuckled.
"I can't believe this..." Jon gasped at the news. "I thought you've told me everything..."
"I-I forgot about that one..." Damian reasoned. "Don't be upset... In my defense, it was a forgettable year at most... that was when our business with the court of owls happened."
"Is that the only one you failed to mention?" Jon crossed his arms.
"Yes." Damian nodded.
"Promise?"
"I promise." Damian nodded.
"Prove it."
"Prove it how?"
"Hug." Jon requested. Damian immediately moved over and hugged his beloved. "Mmnn..." Jon hummed leaning over closer to Damian, basically resting on him.
"Better, beloved?" Damian asked him as he rested his drink on the table.
"Better now that you haven't got that drink on your hand." Jon hugged back.
"Oh, you should've just told me..." Damian took the drink in one shot. "That's the last one."
"Better be, Wayne." Jon smirked. They kept hugging to each other as Gar also shifted towards Rachel, to which she allowed him to lean on her.
"Thanks, babe." Gar hummed.
"No problem." Rachel smiled. Tim and Kon walked in. "Oh, hey..."
Tim and Kon sat next to Jon, who was resting on Damian. "What's happening?" Asked Tim.
"Just chit chatting." Jon hummed while being in Damian's embrace.
"Are you drunk, Damian?" Tim asked him.
"Blame Richard and Todd." Damian answered as he gave a quick kiss to Jon's head. "They're the ones who forced me to consume this horrible substance."
"And yet, you keep drinking..." Jon chimed in.
"I can't help it, Beloved." Damian answered. "It takes over someone..."
"Excuses." Jon chuckled, closing his eyes.
