A New Life

The past five years, have been... good. Damian and Jon moved out of the Manor with their daughter and bought a luxurious house just in the silent suburbs of Metropolis. Jack and Cissie got married 3 years ago and had a boy of their own, while Dick and Kori had Mar'i as well a couple days before Autumn was born. Due to the couple moving to Metropolis, Jon was now closer to work and Damian, wanting to spend time with his children, works from home... office and gym (Basement). Yes... I know I typed Children... Damian and Jon decided to have a second child 2 years ago. Named, Richard Jack Kent-Wayne, they had a boy this time. He had Jon's eyes and Damian's face. 

7:30 am

"Beloved!" Damian called to his husband as he packed Autumn's lunch for Kindergarten. "Autumn, Beloved! We have to go!" 

"Yes, papa." Autumn emerged in her uniform, travelling down the stairs and flipping off the last stair.

"There's my child..." Damian smiled as his daughter ran to him. He picked her up and landed a kiss to her cheek. "You ready for school?"

"Yes, papa." Autumn smiled as she hugged her papa. Jon made his way downstairs carrying Richard. "Daddy." she called out to him, as Damian put her down.

"I thought I was papa." Jon raised a brow. 

"Papa!" Richard tried to reach for Damian, who immediately carried the 2 year old boy. 

"Hello, little one." Damian smiled, kissing him on the forehead. "You love papa?"

"Mhm." Richard quickly nodded, as he hugged Damian.

"I'm glad." Damian hummed as he tried to put his son down.

"No! Papa!" Young Richard reached up again, for Damian to carry him.

"But, Richard." Damian tried to reason. "I have to drop your sister off at school and Papa needs to go to work."

"Papaaaa!" Richard whimpered trying to reach up to Damian, who finally gave in and carried him. 

"Beloved." Damian called to Jon. "You take over."

"NO! Uwaaaaaaah!" Richard began to cry hugging his 'papa' tighter. "I want to come, papa!" 

"I'm sorry, beloved but you can't." Damian rubbed his son's back as he cried. "Papa has a meeting..."

"I'll be good!" Richard pleaded.

"Belove-"

"PAPA!!!" Richard let out a screech.

"Heh." Autumn chuckled, finding her little brother annoying, but extremely adorable. 

"Jon." He called to him as Jon reached out to grab young Richard. the boy tried to tighten his grip but Damian took his arms away.

"Papa! UWAAAH!" Richard cried harder as he tried to reach for Damian as him and Autumn walked towards the front door. "UWAAAH!"

"Take care, Dami!" Jon looked at the Father and daughter who held hands as they made their way out of the house.

"I love you, beloved." Damian called out. "Richard. Papa will come back, okay? Papa loves you!" 

"Papa! don't leave!" Richard yelled, melting Damian's heart. Damian and Autumn made their way outside of the chaotic house (Thanks to Richard) and into the peaceful, silent neighborhood. Damian didn't buy another mansion as he knew that he would be the heir to Wayne Manor in Gotham and would eventually come back when the time is right. Both Damian and Autumn entered their car as Damian drove to her school.

10 minutes Later.

Damian and his daughter arrived as they made their way to her classroom. Damian held Autumn's hand while walking carrying her bag. He could feel her tightening her grip on his hand, suggesting she was nervous. Both finally arrived by her classroom, when she became hesitant to enter, seeing as it was her first year and she has only been attending for three days.
