"You failed." Damian scowled. "In real battle... All of you would've been dead." He said as he picked his son up who was holding his back in pain, crying. "Emotions, won't work in the battlefield, as Richard here so clearly demonstrates what not to do." He smirked as he picked him up.
"That HURT!" Richard wailed.
"That won't work on your enemies, Richard." Damian said, coldly. "Your enemies won't feel for you... and you must not feel for them." He ordered as he rubbed his son's back. "Autumn, come here." He also picked Autumn up. "Sorry."
"It's okay, papa." Autumn nodded.
"Come on, medical bay." Damian carried both of his children. "I'll explain more." Jack knelt to Steven, who lied on the ground.
"Stevie..." Jack reached out to him.
"AH!" Steven flinched.
"It's just me." Jack began to carry him. "Sorry."
"D-Dad..." Steven whimpered as he wrapped his arms around him, crying loudly.
"Oh, baby boy... sorry." Jack rubbed his back as he carried him. "Sorry... I'm so sorry. I'll patch you up." They all walked over to the medical bay as Richard and Autumn were sat beside Steven on a stretcher, Jack attending to them.
"Oww..." Steven winced in pain.
"Oh... this'll be quicker." He told himself as he hovered his hand on the three children. He closed his eyes to focus, as a faint orange light covered the children.
"Jack!" Damian yelled as he saw the bruises from the kids appear on Jack's body as well the wound from their faces.
"That should do it..." Jack smiled, groaning lightly.
"Da-Dad..." Steven reached out as he held Jack's cheek, which had a bruise that he had sustained.
"It's okay..." Jack groaned as he stood up slowly. "Wow... we really did you a number." He winced as he held his back. "I'll tend to myself over there... Damian needs to explain." he slowly made his way over to a different section of the medical bay.
"That's forbidden!" Damian chided as he approached Jack.
"Oh save it." Jack groaned as he spat blood out on the sink.
"Jackie." Cissie glared daggers into her husband. "Listen. To. Him."
"Sorry." Jack immediately apologized to Damian. "It's just bruises... and a possible cracked rib." He felt his torso.
"I DON'T CARE!" Damian yelled, surprising Jack. "You do know what happens-"
"Kids, out." Jon ordered. "We're going to have to scold your Dad, Steven." He crossed his arms. "Wait outside."
"Oh, okay..." Steven said, sadly as he and the others nodded, making their way outside.
"Room. Private mode." Jon said, scowling as the room turned privacy mode, blocking the kids from the view.
"What are they talking about?" Steven asked Autumn.
"I-I can't hear them..." Autumn shook her head. "The room's in private mode."
"JACK!" Damian yelled, furious. "WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT LIFE TRANSFER?!"
"Damian, calm down." Jack waved his hands. "It's not like anyone was dead."
"But you died, Jackie..." Cissie crossed her arms as she reasoned with him, calmly. "You died. You were gone for 10 years..."
"Ci-Cissie-"
