1 week later.
Damian and Jon had gotten on with their life, trying their best to move on. For now, they try to enjoy everything that life gave them, they cherish every little time they have, not knowing if it could be taken away from them like breath, on a mirror.
"Autumn, Jellybean! Come on!" Damian called out to her. Autumn immediately ran down the stairs. "Hello, my beloved daughter."
"Papa..." Autumn hummed, jumping on Damian's arms.
"Ready to go to school?" He asked, smiling at his daughter.
"Mhmm." Autumn replied, gleefully, hugging her dad.
"Papa!" Richard called out, running to his papa.
"Pumpkin." Damian said softly.
"Papa carry me!" He requested.
"No." Damian teased.
"Papa...." Richard whimpered, biting his bottom lip. Damian looked at Autumn who nodded at him as he gently put her back on the ground.
"Come here, you..." Damian chuckled picking up his cute son. "You're really like your dad... crybabies." He teased.
"Papa!" Richard complained.
"Kidding." Damian smiled, kissing Richard on the forehead, making him chuckle.
"Papa..." Richard hummed, as he hugged his papa back. "Yuv you..."
"I love you too, pumpkin." Damian smiled. "Jon!" he called out.
"Coming!" Jon flew down the stairs with Autumn's bag. "Let's go?"
"Yes. Let's." Damian nodded. "This afternoon, we're going to your grandfather Bruce's house."
"YAY!" Richard celebrated. "GrandPapa Bruce!"
"Heh." Damian chuckled. Everyone made their way to the car to start to take Autumn to her school. After dropping Autumn off, Damian and Jon dropped by at Cissie's since she invited them.
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
Cissie walked to the front door and opened it, revealing Damian and Jon with Richard on his papa's arms.
"Hey!" Cissie greeted. "Come in, come in." Damian and Jon smiled as they headed in. Damian dropped Richard off in Steven's play room, upstairs as they both started playing together. Damian and Jon sat on the couch as Cissie went to fetch them some coffee. "Hey, thanks for coming. It means a lot to Steven... since..." Cissie placed the mugs on the table in front of Jon and Damian.
"Thank you." Damian thanked her, grabbing the mug.
"How are you holding up?" Jon asked her.
"I've been trying..." Cissie held her mug, tightly. "I-I miss his smile... I miss waking up beside him everyday... I miss everything about him." Cissie's voice broke. "So-sorry."
"No no..." Jon stood up and sat next to her. "You're okay..."
"It's just..." Cissie tried to soldier on. "I-I've been trying to stay strong... for Steven."
*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*
"What?" Cissie looked at the front door.
"Don't worry." Jon reassured her as he scanned it, using X-ray vision. "Just a mailman." He smiled.
"Oh." Cissie rested her mug down as she walked towards the door, opening it. "Hi." She greeted carefully.
"Hello. This is for a... Mrs. Smith." The mailman handed her a small envelope.
