A few days Later. 7:30 am. 2 and a Half Hours until Jack's funeral.

Jack's funeral was going to be held on the Manor grounds, up the hill under a beautiful tree where he'll be buried next to Alfred, so he could keep him company. Every Bat family member was there, attending. Cissie and Steven slept in Jack's old room, where Damian and Jon slept in their old room, with their children. The funeral was going to be held in an hour, Dick told Damian to rest as he'll be handling the arrangements himself. Both Richard and Autumn were sleeping soundly on the bed, when Damian woke up, slowly opening his eyes. He eyed Jon who was on the balcony, just to himself staring out. Daiman got up and approached his husband.

"Hey, you..." Damian said softly, gently closing the door to the balcony behind him, so that the kids won't hear them. "Good Morning, beloved."

"I could've saved him..." Jon lowered his head. "I know I could've..." His voice broke as he covered his face. "I-I should've noticed... If I did, maybe he'd still be alive."

"Hey... Don't do that to yourself..." Damian grabbed both of Jon's hands to discover tears running down his face. "Please... it wasn't any of our faults..." He held Damian's hands tight. "Jack knew what he signed up for... he knew the risks..."

"He finally wanted to live... after all these years... he wanted to live..." Jon whimpered. "He wanted to stay... with Cissie..." A great sob escaped him. "And now... she's alone..."

"We will be there for her... okay?" Damian held Jon's cheeks. "Like how Jack was always there... for us... We'll be there... for her... together. Okay?"

"Mhm..." Jon whimpered, slowly nodding his head. Damian immediately wrapped his arms around Jon's neck hugging him close. "I miss him..." Jon cried, burying his face on Damian's shoulder.

"Me too..." Damian's voice broke.

"I don't think I can do this..." Jon cried out.

"We have to..." Damian said softly. "We have to, beloved. However hard... We have to. For Jack."

"Mhmm..." Jon nodded. He raised his head, Damian began to wipe his husband's tears off. "I love you..." Jon whimpered.

"I love you too, Jon." Damian hugged him again, close. "I love you, too..." Damian continued to comfort his husband, eventually returning him to bed so he can sleep with the Kids who immediately cuddled with their dad. Damian wanted to check on Cissie and Steven, who slept next door as he carefully opened the door to Jack's room. Normally, he would be greeted by Jack's gleeful greeting that he took for granted. This time, it was Cissie, who was sitting on the bed, with Steven, crying to himself, hugging a picture of his dad with Damian and Jon. "Hey..." Damian said softly as he entered. "I-I'm not really good at socializing but... I came here to check on both of you... because that's what he would've done..."

"You and Jon taught him that..." Cissie smiled lightly at him. "He always admired both you, praised both of you..."

"He does that." Damian smiled, sitting next to Cissie on the bed. "I'm sorry, Cissie."

"What for?" Cissie raised a brow, confused.

"I couldn't save him." Damian's voice broke. "We-we should've realized... maybe-"

"Hey... don't do that..." Cissie placed a hand on his shoulder. "Jack... he knew the ways he could come out of that battle... unfortunately..." Her voice broke. "It cost him his life... but he loved it... because in the end... he felt free... with his recuperation cells... he was free."

"But Steven-"

"I promised Jackie we will be fine..." Cissie reassured him.

"Is he... okay?" Damian looked at Jack's son, who had Jack's face and his mother's eyes.
