After the chief speech Kelly knew he had to fix it with Stella he knew he messed up  so he went to fix it he opened the door and called out her name she didn't respond he walked to the bedroom he didn't find her but he found a note on the bed
he started crying when he read it he fucked up he wished he had told her now she left he hated it by trying to protect her she ended up hurting her more meanwhile casey came home and he heard crying he walked over to where it was coming from he walked in to see Kelly sitting on the bed crying with a note in his hand he walked over Kelly handed him the note he read it out loud

Kelly,
I have tried and held in as long as I can but I can't keep doing this something needs to change you avoid me and you said you would help me study and you did but then you stopped and started ignoring me you are shutting me out I went through this once with you and it hurt me when you did but this time I have no idea why   Your also said you were gonna change at the cabin and you have then out of the blue you got back to your normal self so I'm gonna stay with Brett till you get it sorted out and don't come here after me because I'm staying till you get your shit straight

K: I messed up
C: why have you been ingoring her
K: because when she had that meeting I also had an errand to run I ran into someone and he said that almost everyone is saying she only got this far because she's sleeping with me
C: so you ignored her because some people think she got this far because of you well you are proving them right she got this far and now you ignore her what's that look like
K: I've messed up
C: yess you say you gonna be a better man for her and do it for a little while then stop you ain't being one you being your old self and remember what happened between you to last time all the break ups and heart aches before you changed you really wanna go back to that because all y'all were then was basically friends with benefits
K: heck no us how we are now is way better
C: okkk then go fix it but tomorrow morning it's 1 am
K: this is gonna be weird

K: I'm sleeping in bed alone for the first time in months
C: it's just one night and I sleep alone every night I have for the past year

Casey left and went to his room Kelly got ready for bed he slipped into stella side of the bed he hated she wasn't there he missed having her in his arms he tossed her turned and was finally able to fall asleep he didn't sleep very well

*** the next morning ***

He woke up the next morning he was thankful they had the day off he walked out there and saw Casey leaving

K: where are you going
C: taking Brett  out
K: okkkkk

Kelly got ready and left he went over to bretts house he knocked on the door she answered

K: hi
S: hi
K: can we talk
S: so now you wanna talk
K: Stella I'm sorry okk
S: are you
K: yesss I am
S: only took you four days to say it and me leaving for one night to make you come to your senses
K: I was going to last night but you weren't there
S: yeah well I didn't know how to get you to wake up because I can't keep doing this charade if you ingorning me I can't so it has to stop or we are over I gave you space at first thinking you would come to me but then you started ignoring me and going MIA on me
K: stel I'm sorry it's going to stop I thought I was helping
S: how the only thing you did was hurt me real bad so helping me was hurting me
K: I didn't mean to I ran into someone the day you had the meeting I ran into some they said you only made it this far because your sleeping with me
S: so your saying you ignored me because you let some dumb bastard get in your head and almost ruin our relationship
K: I know it's stupid I'm sorry But can you forgive me

He grabbed her waist and hugged her
K: I missed you last night it felt weird to be in bed without you

K: come on let's go home we can watch movies on the couch and cuddle while Casey's gone

He kissed her she went packed her stuff they went back to the apartment and cuddled and watched movies
Over the course of the next few weeks Kelly helped stella study and she ended up acing her exam
