HM: I want to see my daughter if that's ok
J: I would have to ask Hailey cuz it would be her decision but he *points to her dad* will not that a guarantee

J: Hailey don't want to see him that's why she runs away every time she sees him
HD: that's because you make her
J: no its because she's afraid you'll hit her just like you did when she was younger

J: she told me and showed me the police reports there's no getting out of this
HB: well can me and my mom see her
J: let me call and see if she wants to see y'all
He calls Hailey and told her that her mom and brothers are here she said she wanted to see them so she was coming out Jay asked if she was sure since her dad was here to she said yes as long I was there it would be fine so she came out of house and stood very closely to jay so if her dad tried anything Jay could stop him.
HM: hi honey
HB: hi little sis
H: hi mom
HD: how about we go in and talk
H: ok but you aint coming in
HD: why not honey I'm your father and I need to tell you something
H: well you can tell me right now

H: I woke up and realized that the beating isn't normal

H: if jay is a bad guy then why did he serve this country and become a cop and puts all of our lives ahead of his and does everything he can to protect us huh?

Jay comes out of the house
J: ok she said this conversation is over just leave

Jay looked down to see Hailey a little scared so he said
J: go inside I got this
H: thanks
She walks away and inside the house and starts packing
HD: you have no right to do that I don't who you think you are
J: man just leave
HB: just leave us alone don't you have meth to go sell
J: no I aint no drug dealer I'm a cop *he shows then his badge and gun* see
They just leave because they realize there no point in arguing anymore so they leave to come up with a game plan to talk to Hailey without jay meanwhile jay heads inside to find Hailey packing and crying he walks in and says
J: they are gone are you ok
H: yeah yeah I'm fine
J: then why are you crying
H: I'm not so can I finish packing now
J: uh huh if you say so ill be in the living room waiting
H: ok
Jay leaves and waits for her to finish packing a couple minutes later she comes out and her eyes are red and puffy jay sees she's been crying so he stands up and just hugs her she just breaks down and cry's her eyes out after a couple minutes she calms down
H: ok you ready
J: yeah come on let's go to the grocery store then head back to my apartment that sound good
H: yepp
They head to the grocery store get everything they need and head back to jay's apartment. they unload the groceries and watch movies for the rest of the night and around 11 jay looks to find a sleeping Hailey on his shoulder so he slips out and carries her to bed then goes to bed himself the ‪around 2 am‬ someone calling his name he opens his eyes to find a very frightened Hailey there in front of him he figured she had another nightmare
J: did you have another nightmare
H: yes
J: come here
He scoots over so she could join him and she don't waste any time she hops in bed and says
H: thanks jay for everything
J: anytime hails
H: goodnight
J: goodnight
Hailey wakes up first she's cuddled up to jay side she just stays there staring at his scar from where he got shot jay wakes a couple seconds later and says
J: good morning
H: morning
J: you Hungary
H: yes, but I'm cooking
J: come on Hails you don't need to cook every meal you know that right
H: yes, but I want to I mean you're already doing so much for me
J: ok just because I am that don't mean you have to repay me or thank me
H: I know but I want to
J: well I'm cooking breakfast no objection this conversation is over
He gets up and heads to start breakfast just as he did

Jay is cooking them breakfast while Hailey fixes them coffee just as jay was about to sit down with Hailey the doorbell rang so he grabbed his gun and went to the front door and looked through the peep hole but it was covered so he went back to Hailey handed her a spare gun and told her to hide she started to get scared but she trusted jay so she did what he told her. Meanwhile jay opened the door to find Hailey's brother at the door
HB: my sister here
J: no she is with Voight right now
HB: yeah right y'all haven't left the apartment since last night
J: yeah I haven't she spent the night with Voight
HB: ok who's this Voight
J: our boss but what do want with Hailey in the first place
HB: for her to come back so our family can be reunited again so my dad can be happy before he dies knowing his family is together
J: well that can happen except for Hailey y'all have put her through a lot good bye
HB: this aint over
J: ok
Jay closed the door and went to get Hailey, he found her in his closet in one of his hoodies with the gun and phone in her hand she jumped when she the closet door opened but then saw it was jay so she relaxed he stretched his hand to help her up when he did she hugged him tight he just hugged her back they stayed like that for a couple of minutes after a few minutes she released
H: thanks for getting rid of him
J: anytime but you know you don't have to thank me constantly for all of this right
H: that's who I am and I aint going to change
J: oh boy this ought to be fun
H: ohh shut up can we eat now
J: gladly
They ate and watched movies and around 12: jay looked down to find Hailey asleep on his lap he slid out from underneath and put her in the guest bedroom and went to fix them food just as he got done he heard a scream and rushed down to the guest bedroom he found Hailey sitting up with tears in her eyes he just sat down and pulled her into a hug she broke down explaining the dream to him the dream was about her dad kidnaping jay torturing him then her dad kidnaps her and kills jay right in front on her. Hailey was scared and the only thing that calmed her down was Jay being there because that meant he was alive. Jays heart was breaking as Hailey is crying in his chest
J: hey I'm here and alive
And a couple of minutes she calmed down and looked up into Jays emerald eyes and without realizing it they both lean in and KISS. It was what they have been wanting to do since Hailey started staying with him and they liked waking up together jay liked waking up with Hailey in his arms and Hailey like waking up in jay's arms. After a couple of minutes they pull apart
H: woah
J: woah as in im a good kisser or woah as in that was a mistake
H: woah as in im happy in happened but your kissing tecquine could use some work
J: and you could use a breath mint
She looks shocked and checks her breath when she does Jay laughs then Hailey realized he was joking she playfully hit him arm
H: not nice
J: so is saying im bad kisser when it's a lie now were even

J: good I made lunch
She went to get up so she could getb food but was quickly pulled back down and fell on top  Jay
H: can I go get food
J: can I get a kiss first
She kissed him

She went and grabbed her food and joined Jay on the couch and ate after she ate jay turned to face her
J: ok I have a question
H: ok *says worried*
J: will you be my girlfriend
She couldn't believe what he just said was he really asking her to be his girlfriend she got a really big smile on her face and said

As she gave him a big hug knocking him backwards she started to get up but couldn't because he was holding her down

He let go she sat up little did they know the team had just arrested Haileys dad and brother because they had outstanding warrants but around 10 jay got a phone call when he saw who it was he stood up and went to the kitchen to take the phone call when he hung up he went back into the living room

She jumped up and ran to jay and jumped in his arms wrapping her legs around him and giving him a big hug when he put her down she kissed him really deep and slipped her hand under his shirt to take it off Jay then picked her up and they had funn and lived as happily ever as two cops can
