She got up off the floor but her father pushed her back down
SD ( stellas dad): you shouldn't have went out I told you not to your not allowed to date

He slapped her again and knocked her to the floor he kicked her repeatedly she groaned while her mother watched in horror but did nothing to stop it which always angered Stella and that's also why stella really wanted to move out but couldn't because of her father he then grabbed her up by her hair and pulled her up he grabbed her arm he pushed her against the wall and pulled her arm behind her back she screamed out in pain
SD: you are not to see him again
Stella wanted to laugh and say ha not gonna happen I work with him but she kept her mouth shut he then snapped her arm she screamed in pain which Kelly heard because stella left her purse in his car and he was returning it when he heard it he was suspicious so he knocked on the door

S: ok
stella answered Kelly automatically saw her arm was broke and knew it happened as he pulled in because he heard the screams

He helped her to his car then her dad came out and ran over to them
SD: where do you think your going
Kelly put stella in the car then out of no where stellas dad punched Kelly Stella went to get out the car but Kelly punched her dad back even harder her dad stumbled backwards but then came lunging at Kelly he just through him down on the ground by now her dad was angry he got back up and knocked Kelly down and was kicking him so stella got out of the car
S: dad stop leave him alone I'll come back in the house
SD: ok then come on you little bitch
Kelly wanted to stop her but knew he couldn't talk her out so he punched her dad he was down and stayed down stella went back to Kelly
S: can we leave now
K: gladly
He was glad she was coming with him he opened her door then went to his side and left he drove them to the hospital when they arrived they were treated Stella had a broken arm and a few bruised ribs and they treated Kelly for a bruised rib and jaw they were discharged they signed the papers and left when they got back to Kelly's apartment stella kept apologizing so Kelly sat her down
K: stel breathe ok breathe I'm not mad ok and plus you got the worst of it
S: still I'm sorry you wouldn't have got hurt if not for me
K: Stella it was my own decision
S: yeah but if I never agreed to go with you then he wouldn't have hit you and you wouldn't have bruised ribs or it hurt to breathe

S: Kelly I'm a trained paramedic I can tell

Stella was crying now she felt guilty and greatful for Kelly

Kelly hugged Stella
K: come on let's get some rest
He showed her the guest bedroom he then went and grabbed a shirt from his drawers and handed it to her she smiled

Kelly went back his room he didn't want to he wanted to stay there with her and cuddle her but didn't want to push the limits she had already been through enough he then got ready for bed and laid down and was unable to go to sleep because of the woman in the other room the woman he fell in love with over the past couple of weeks the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with meanwhile stella got changed and climbed into bed after a few hour's of laying awake wishing Kelly was there with her but after a few hours she was able to go to sleep it took her a little while to get comfy because of her arm but she did a few hours later stella started tossing and turning and saying noo stooppp please noooo meanwhile Kelly was grabbing some water because he still couldn't sleep he then heard her saying no please no please stoppp he opened the door and saw her tossing and turning and sayin nooo please no please stop his heart broke he walked over to her and started to shake her gently
K: Stella wake up stella wake up
She bolted up she was panting and crying Kelly grabbed her waist and pulled her into him he just hugged her while she cried he just held her as she cried he hated he couldn't take this pain away from her so he just held as she cried after a couple of minutes she calmed down he looked at her

K: you ok
She shook her head yes because she knew if she spoke her voice would tell him otherwise and she didn't want to be a burden but he knew she wasn't
K: you sure your okkk
He just stared at her and she couldn't keep it in
S: no I keep reliving one of the beating where I was in coma for 5 months
He didn't know how to respond so moved so he was leaning against the headboard and brought her so she was laying on his chest he just held her and she cried even harder after an hour she calmed down
K: thirsty
S: no
K: go back to sleep
S: you don't have to stay I'll be fine
K: well to bad I'm staying your in condition to be alone right now

K: no problem now go to sleep
He kissed her head and pulled her closer she fell asleep happy and content. Over thr next few months her dad went to trial and was convicted of domestic abuse and went to jail stella mom tried to make contact but stella cut off all communications with her she moved in with Kelly and they are still dating happier than ever
