Upstead jays dad pt 2

Hailey flips out when she sees the autopsy report that showed jays mom was poisoned and didn't die of cancer she then started going over stuff in her brain did his dad kill his mom she was getting furious how come he never told her or voight she was mad and sad she was sad jay never trusted her enough to tell him but neither she walked over to his bed and cried she curled up into a ball she could smell his scent she cried even harder she laid where he slept it smelt like him which made her cry even harder then there was a knock at the door she cleaned herself up and looked through the peephole to find Will there she opened the door
W: is jay here
H: no he left a while ago
W: when's he coming about
H: I don't know he said he was gonna be gone a few weeks
W: why
H: I don't know voight said he was gonna go after y'alls dad
W: after our dad he's dead
H: yeah that's what voight said
W: that's not possible
H: well that's all I know and that your mom didn't die of cancer she was poisoned
W: what that's not possible
H: yep what I was thinking
W: ok and is everything ok

W: well you just got back and now jay left and you have been crying your eyes are red and puffy

H: well jays jay so he gonna shred it or rip it up didn't find out anything and then there's his safe which only had the autopsy report and you interrupted my search for the second one

H: yeah I know jay better than you think and he has two one with non personal stuff and one with all the personal stuff the one with personal stuff is the one hid very well better than anything
W: ok why do we need to find this safe and how do you know about it
H: well because it could contain some info we need to know and jay told me he has two safes and told me the codes in case anything's ever happened to him
W: huh he's never told me about it or the codes to his safe
H: yeah well he knew you would forget and he knew the only way you would remember it is if you wrote it down and that's to risky
W: see how well my brother trusts me

They looked for the safe hailey then remembered this one phrase jay told her " motorcycles are life" she then remembered he had a motorcycle painting he couldn't hang up because he didn't have room so she went to his room and under his bed she found a squeaky board under the painting she opened the boards and found it

H: jay gave me a hint and knew I would figure it out

H: he told me about a painting he had but no where to hang up and also that motorcycles were life and I remember that life was the code worked for safe we came up with
W: ok
She put the code in and found some files she looked through them will walked in
W: what's the files say
H: uhh his will and all
W: ok
Wills phone buzzed so he checked it and it was a text from Natalie Saying she needed him
W: I have to go text me if you find anything
H: ok bye

When will left she closed the safe and waited for him to leave left to go talk to voight

H: how come you left me in the dark and not tell me my partner went after his father because he's a killer he killed jays mom aunt and was also abusive towards jay

H: jays secondary safe

** month later**

Hailey was missing her partner like crazy it was a average day she got up got dressed and went to work luckily it was paperwork day she got off a five she went home she just propped her feet up Vanessa was spending the night with a friend she was on the couch when there was a knock on the door she thought it was Vanessa but when she opened the door it was the person she didn't expect it to be Jay when she saw him she walked into his arms and hugged him tight jay smiled
J: glad to know someone missed me
H: don't ever do that to me again
J: I'm sorry
he wiped her tears
H: where the hell were you and why
J: lets sit down and I'll explain
H: ok
They walked in and sat down
H: ok explain
J: so a month ago cia came to me and told me my father was Alive I was in denial then they showed me my moms autopsy report and turns out my dad killed her along with a bunch of other people
Hailey was sitting there in utter shock she just scooted closer to jay and hugged him he hugged her back she loved being his arms
H: I'm so sorry
J: yeah so that's why I left I teamed up with the cia to go take him down
H: why didn't you tell me
J: because he's a killer and I've seen what he could do and I didn't want to put you in danger
H: don't ever do that to me ever again
J: I'm sorry I just couldn't risk it
H: you scared me I was so freaking scared
J: I'm sorry
He pulled her into a hug and hugged her tight she cried into chest and kept repeating how scared she was
J: I'm sorry
He pulled her into his lap she burried her head in his chest after a few minutes she stopped she looked up and caught his green emerald eyes
H: I was so worried and I'm sorry for what you went through
J: you found my safe
H: yeah and voight wouldnt tell me
J: I asked him not to my father killed my mom the mother of his kids and his sister and his brothers wife I didn't take that risk
H: don't ever do that again
J: I was to scared he would come after you
H: why
J: because I love you and I couldn't take the risk
She smiled when said that
H: I love you to
He kissed her she kissed back she turned so now hers were on the outside of his and kept kissing him they worked out 😉😉
