In this story Severide is in OFI

So it was at night when Kelly finally got home he found Stella in the kitchen cooking her a late night snack he dropped his bag and keys and went to the kitchen and snaked his arms around her waist from behind
K: what are you cooking beautiful
S: pasta
K: you make enough for me
S: when do I not make some for you
K: I don't know
S: exactly
K: how long till it's done im starving
S: a couple minutes you can pour us drinks and get the plates out
K: ok done I'm going to go change I will be back
The food gets done Stella puts it on the plate and puts it on the table just as she was about to call him there was a knock on the door so she went and answered and there stood Renee
S: hey Renee what are you doing here
R: is Kelly here
S: ok KELLY COME HERE
K: give me a minute
S: come in I guess while we wait on him
R: thank you
She walked in and sat on the couch just as she did Kelly came out and said
K: guess who jus...... uhh hey Renee what are you doing here
S: I will you give you two some privacy
K: ok
R: so I have this case I could use your help on
K: how did you find out where I live
R: I have my ways so you going to help me or not
K: I don't think it's a good idea
R: why not
K: you know why
R: what's the big deal I thought you felt the same way and plus this is our second chance why are you going to ruin it Kelly people very rarely get second chances
K: I said no
R: is this because of Stella last time I was here she told me to stay away from you she doesn't trust you Kelly I trust you
K: yes, I'm happy with Stella happier than I was with you and she don't trust you I mean I can't say I blame her
R: why are throwing away what we have I mean we could have a family Nicky adores you I adore you we could be a happy family why you going to throw it away
K: I'm not throwing away anything I'm happy with Stella and that it's time for you to leave

She storms out mad as fire and thinking of a plan to get him back they deserve to be together she mumbles to herself. Kelly just laughs and goes to the bedroom to find Stella in the shower so he stands there watching a minute before he joins and 30 minutes later they hope out of the shower get dressed and eat while they were eating Stella finally perks up and asks
S: what did Renee want
K: she wanted my help on a case
S: ok what did you say
K: no because it wasn't a good idea
S: why wouldn't it be a good idea I mean you helped her before
K: because last time after we won she kissed me
S: SHE DID WHAT NOW why didn't you tell me
K: because it meant nothing and I told her to never contact me ever again because I was with you and was very happy and walked off. I didn't tell you because it meant nothing
S: ohh got you but if happens again will you tell me please
K: ok
They finished eating and Stella was starting to clean up when Kelly stopped her said he was doing it since she cooked she said aye aye lieutenant and started off toward the bedroom Kelly just laughed at how silly she was and started thinking how did I get so lucky to find a girl like Stella he finished cleaning up went into the bedroom changed and hopped in bed where Stella was on her phone when she saw him hop in the bed she put her phone and cuddled into Kelly's chest
K: goodnight beautiful I love you
S: goodnight I love you to
The next morning
Kelly woke up and cut off the alarm and saw Stella cuddled into his chest he just smiled and kissed her forehead to wake her she slowly woke up when he saw that he said
K: good morning beautiful
S: good morning
K: alright come on let's shower you know to save water
S: ok but we can't get to distracted
K: since when do I ever distract you in the shower he said with a chuckle
S: only all the time we waste more water showering together than we do separate but anyways let's go shower
K: you know you love it and come on before you make us late
S: how can I make us late you don't have to been in the office for another 2 hours and I have to be at the office for another hr. so I would be late
K: blah blah come on
30 minutes later after the shower
K: alright you get ready ill go make us breakfast deal
S: deal
Stella went and got dressed for work while Kelly went downstairs to cook them breakfast as soon as he was done he yelled for Stella just as he did there was knock on the door so he went and answered as soon as he did Renee kissed him and pushed him inside when he pulled back as soon as it happened and said
K: stop
R: why you said it yourself the other day you wanted this
K: I did not now get out
R: fine but this isn't over we're meant for each other and I'm not going to let her *pointed to Stella who was standing in the bedroom doorway watching* ruin it
K: get out
*she storms off once again slamming the door behind her* Kelly turns around to find Stella looking she is ready to punch Renee and to be honest he doesn't blame her at all he kind of wants to himself
S: is she ever going to leave us alone
K: I don't think so
*walks over to her and wraps his arms around her waist and kisses her*
S: ok let's change the subject what's for breakfast
K: agreed bacon and eggs but you know I love you right
S: yes, I love you too now can we eat
*kisses her once then responds with*
K: yes
They eat and Kelly gets ready while Stella finishes getting ready
S: bye be safe I love you
K: bye you to I love you too
They kiss and she leaves and head to the station Kelly finishes getting ready and leaves for OFI
12 hrs. later
Kelly's Apartment
Him and seager were at his apartment working on a case and working on a case
At the firehouse
The bells go off
Ambulance 61 truck 81 train crash at the corner of grand ave. and ‪95th street‬
They all gear up and get there Casey is ordering people around Kidd Gallo go check over there when they do just as they were about to report back a bomb went off causing all of truck and ambo to duck and they are all shocked when Casey realized Kidd and Gallo were over there he was praying they were alive he also wasn't looking forward to calling Kelly to tell him but he was immediately brought of his thought when mouch said what do we do Captain Casey replied we go look for them Kidd and Gallo are over there so let's go find them.
Meanwhile over with Kidd and Gallo
Gallo woke up with a massive headache un able to move because there is something pinning his leg down he starts yelling for Kidd but no response but a couple seconds later he saw Casey and asked how Kidd was he said not good
They got Gallo and Kidd out and into the ambulance while all this was happening Severide and the whole OFI squad showed up and when they did Severide saw truck 81 and started to panic a little and seager saw so she spoke up and said I'm sure she's fine the rest of the squad which is only 4 other people looked confused so seager said his girlfriend is on truck 81 they all said got you and walked over to the scene and Boden approached and said that we had two firefighters injured and looked at Severide and said yes Kidd was one of the ones injured her and Gallo they are being loaded up she is in 61 and it don't look good I'm sorry he starts to panic a little but holds it together so he don't look weak in front of everyone Severide boss says for seager and Severide to ride with them when Severide heard that he bolted for 61 he made just as foster was about to close the door when he got in he looked down and saw Kidd he started to cry a little bit and say come on Stella don't leave me she then started to flat line so Brett shocked her and she came back the Brett asked how long till we get there foster responded with 2 min when they get there they take her back and start working on her dr. Choi comes out and says she needs surgery because she has an internal bleed they need to fix and will update when they have one
6hrs later
Dr. choi comes out to the waiting room to find all of firehouse 51 and Violet from firehouse 20 because Gallo and her were dating when they see him they stand up and surround Dr. Choi to find out news on Stella and Gallo
DC: well Gallo got lucky he wasn't as close to the bomb so he just has and concussion and a broken leg he is very lucky he is awake if you want to go see him he will be discharged tom we want to keep him here overnight just to be safe
K: what about Stella
DC: she wasn't as lucky she was closer to the bomb she has a mild concussion and a few broken ribs that we fixed and one of the ribs nicked a vein so she had internal bleeding we went in and fixed she also has a broken arm but other than that she is good but the next 24hrs are crucial because she crashed twice one while they were on the way here and once on the table but right now she is stable so hopefully she won't crash and if she don't she will be discharged within the next 6 days depending on how she is. She is asleep right now but you can go visit her but 4 at a time.
They all sigh in relief and go visit but after a little while they all head out except for Kelly he stays
The whole OFI squad came in to check in to see how she is his commander also gives him the next couple days off he accepts since he planned on asking off anyways so he could take of care of Stella. The whole Ofi squad asks Kelly standard questions since he was from 51 and close with everyone then they said call if you need anything and left Kelly started thinking about he could have lost her he started to cry because it scared him really bad
S: hey no need to cry I'm not dead am I
Kelly jolted up when he heard her he smiled and chuckled then said
K: I'm not in a joking mood Stella
S: hey no need to cry I'm alive and fine come here
She scooted over so Kelly could join her and he didn't waste a second he got up and got in putting his arms around her while being careful not to hurt her they cuddled for the rest of the night then 6 days later Stella got discharged and 2 months later she went back to work Renee kept showing up after she got home from the hospital that's when they decided it's time to move so she couldn't find them and after they moved Renee was never heard from again hopefully
