Chapter 20

A couple days had passed, Maverick and Erin was getting out the hospital today. Last night jay went home to grab the car seat, and made sure the house was fully set up. Erin thinks they're going back to the apartment, but their not. While Erin's been in the hospital jay and the team had been moving the remainder of their things to the new house.

Jay: you ready to go home?
Erin: Yea, I think we're all set. Can you put Mav in his seat for me?
Jay: Of course, come here little guy. Daddy's gonna make sure you're nice and snug in your car seat.
Erin: I'm glad I get to see you like this again. It's actually quite sexy to see you in daddy mode.
Jay: please don't tease me babe.
Erin: I'm sorry, but you do.
Will: Is my favorite family ready to leave?
Erin: yup, so let's hurry up with those discharge papers!
Will: well geez Er, just sign these and you free to go.
Erin: Done, jay let's go! Bye will, we'll see you soon.
Will: Bye Er, bye Mav!
Jay: you know she hates hospitals!
Will: yup, you better go catch up before she drives off.
Jay: alright, bye will!
Will: see ya!

Jay placed Mavericks car seat in the car and then grabbed the door so Erin could get in. Erin sat in the back with Mav, and he slept peacefully all the way home.

Erin: Hey where are we going, I thought we were going to the apartment?
Jay: No we're  going home!
Erin: what do you mean?
Jay: while you was in the hospital, the team helped me finish packing the apartment, and then helped me moved everything.
Erin: awwe babe,🥺
Jay: So, as I was saying we're  going home. Now you get to see the kids rooms.

Jay walked around the truck and helped Erin out of the truck, then he grabbed baby Maverick. Jay unlocked the door and allowed Erin to walk in first.

"WELCOME HOME"
The team was standing in the living room, and Bella was being held by Kim. When Bella saw her parents she hurried and shuffled out of Kim's arms.

Bella: Mommyyy!
Erin: Hey babygirl, how are you?
Bella: Good, is that baby brother?
Erin: yes it is, let's go sit down on the couch and you can see him.
Bella: okay!!!

Erin got settled on the couch, while jay unhooked Maverick from his car seat and handed him to Erin. Erin introduced Bella to her baby brother. The team all took turns holding Mav.

Antonio: You two really make some beautiful kids.
Erin: Thanks Antonio!
Jay: Hey, since Erin and Maverick are home now how about this weekend we host a barbecue for everyone. Think of it as a thank you for helping us set everything up.
Adam: That would be awesome, I can't wait to hit the pool.
Kevin: I'll definitely be here, can I bring my brother and sister too.
Erin: yea that would cool.
Jay: Hey Er.. come check out the kids room.
Erin: okay, I'm excited to see what you all did.

Jay covered Erin's eyes as they made their way to Bella's room. Jay opened the door and removed his hands from in erins face.

Erin: omg 😱 it's amazing 🥺 you guys really gave her a princess room. Has Bella seen it yet?
Jay: nope, we wanted to wait for you. BELLA COME HERE PRINCESS..
Bella: yes daddy!
Jay: do you wanna see you new room?
Bella: 😳 yes 😁.

Bella walk into her room she quickly ran to her pink carriage bed. She was so excited, Erin took her picture of her playing in her big girl room. They left Bella playing in her room and then headed to Mavericks room. Erin opened the door and it was so adorable.

Erin: you really captured what I had in mind for his room. I love it babe, you did an amazing job.
Jay: the team helped me with all of this, but our bedroom was all me.
Erin: let's go see it then!
Jay: okay😁

Erin: I have to ask why'd you picked the red and black them in here.
Jay: because your favorite movie is fifty shades darker. 👀
Erin: you are very lucky I just had your son and we have guest in our home.
Jay: I like the sound of that!
Erin: What?🤨
Jay: Our Home!
Erin: me too! 😍😘
Jay: come on let's go hang with our friends, and later we can cuddle up and chill.  How does that sound?
Erin: Perfect 😍!

They joined their friends back downstairs. Erin decided to order pizza for everyone, while they wait for pizza Adam was trying to decide on a movie for everyone. He finally decided on a movie.

Adam: okay guys we're going to watch Home alone it's a classic.
Kevin: I agree, anybody want a beer?
Antonio: yea, I'll take one!
Adam: me too!
Kim: I'll take a water!
Everyone: 👀👀
Kim: I'm driving guys!
Everyone: oh okay😂😂😂
Kim to Erin:👀👀

The pizza arrived and everyone grabbed their slices. Everyone found their spot on the sofa and got comfortable. As the movie played Bella and Maverick fell asleep so jay went and brought them to their rooms. By the time the movie went off most of the team was sleep.

Jay: should we wake them?
Erin: nah just throw a blanket over them. They look tired anyway.
Jay: well let's go shower and cuddle up.
Erin: let's go...

After their shower, jay checked on the kids once more,and Erin went in the kitchen and left a note for the team and a spare key. She then returned and went into their room. Jay had turned on the fireplace, and lit some candles.

Jay: I know we can't play, but we can still relax and have a great cuddle session.
Erin: You know I really love you!
Jay: I really love you too.
