Chapter 36

"NOT EDITED SORRY"

Mother's Day........

For a few weeks now Jay has been planning on Jay taking Erin and the kids on a trip. He first cleared the day with Hank, which he was happy to do. How much the family had gone through these last few months, they deserved it.

Jay: Morning sleepyhead!
Erin: The suns not even out yet, why are you awake?
Jay: Cause I had to get somethings ready.
Erin: ready for what?
Jay: An adventure for both you and the kids, and this will also include us flying.
Erin: where in the world are you taking us?
Jay: I remember on our first date, you said that you had never been to Disney world.  If you ever had kids that's the one place you would want to bring them. So I figure for Mother's Day how about we enjoy a day fully of Disney.
Erin: I freakin love, This is like a dream come true. When do we leave?
Jay: our flight leaves at 12:30, I've already packed the kids clothes. So you just gotta pack your things.
Erin: I better get started!
Jay: yea, you better! Hey, bring that outfit I like 😉.

Erin packed her things and helped Jay get the kids ready.  Both Maverick and Drew were not happy campers, they are definitely Erin's kid when it came to waking up. Bella on the other was more like Jay, she had grown accustomed to Jay's military body clock.

Hank was gracious enough to give the family a lift to the airport, he told Jay that he would keep an eye on their house while they were gone. Jay told him that mouse would also be staying at the house, so it would be okay.
Once they arrived at the airport Jay handled the luggage and Erin handled the kids. Erin made sure to grab Drew's diaper bag, and both kids have their backpack field with snacks and toys. After making it through baggage claim, jay held Maverick and let Bella walk like a big girl.

After they were situated on the flight it didn't take long for Maverick to go to sleep, and for Drew to relax. Bella just watch a movie. Eventually Erin and drew dozed off and fell asleep on Jay's shoulder.

Once the finally landed in Florida, there was a car from the resort waiting for them.

Driver: Halstead family!
Jay: That would be us.
Driver: Is this everyone and everything.
Jay: Yes sir it is.
Driver: just Call me Justin, I'll be your driver for the duration of your trip.
Jay: Thank you!

They headed to the hotel, and of course they stopped for some food. Once the arrived at the hotel, the kids were excited and ready to play.

Receptionist: Welcome to the Disney resort, can I have a name?
Jay: Jay Halstead.
Receptionist: Ah Welcome to the resort Mr. Halstead. Your room is all set, and everything is already in the room. If you would follow me, I'll show you to your room.
Jay: Thank you!
Receptionist: you will be staying on the top floor, you book the presidential sweet so there are 2 bedrooms and we also added a portable crib as well. Your breakfast slot has also been confirmed, and your park passes are also in the room.
Jay+Erin: Thank you!
Receptionist: Mr,Mrs. Halstead welcome to your suite.
Erin: OH MYYY GOSHHHH Jay this is perfect.
Bella: This is the coolest room ever.
Maverick: there's a pool daddy.
Jay: I know buddy, maybe we can go later. What time does the pool close?
Receptionist: The pool closes at 1 am. We also have a kids club, and I believe you already signed up.
Jay: I did, they are going tomorrow night.
Receptionist: Is there anymore questions?
Erin: What time does the park close?
Receptionist: Fir resort guest, the park closes at midnight. I will let you all get settled in, and if you have any questions don't hesitate to call down. The kids club closes at midnight as well.
Jay: Thank you!

The Halstead got settled in, and immediately headed to Disney world. The kids were beyond excited. They spent their entire day in Disney world, by the time they headed back to the hotel the kids were wiped out. Even baby Drew was wiped, he got milk wasted on the ride back. Erin got the kids settled in to bed while Jay went and prepared a nice hot bubble bath for Erin.

Erin: have I told you lately how much I love you!
Jay: umm not since this morning!
Erin: I love you so fucking much, I am so I glad I get to enjoy parenthood with you.
Jay: well I'm glad I get to call you my wife, I love you too baby. Now come on and relax in this amazing bubble bath I have prepared for you.
Erin: I really do love you!
Jay: I love you too!

The next morning Jay had scheduled for a few Disney characters to pop by and have breakfast with the kids. He got Elsa for Bella, Mickey for Maverick, and Tinkerbell for Erin. The kids really enjoyed their time with the characters, but it was now time for them to head off to kids camp. At first the kids didn't want to go after seeing all the toys, they left. Jay had planned an entire day of pampering for Erin. First with a mani and pedi, then he took her to get her hair done. Then he sent her on a no limit shopping spree, but it was no surprise when she brought gift for everyone. While she was getting pampered jay was preparing a nice candle lit dinner for Erin, he worked with the chefs to create her favorite meals. There's candles placed around the suite and several bouquets of Daisies too. Jay had just finished prepping the room when Erin walked she was just as surprised.

Jay: Happy Mother's Day babe!
Erin: Awwe, this is beautiful babe! You even got my favorite flowers. I love you!
Jay: I love you too! Now have a seat, I've prepared some of your favorite dishes. Macaroni and cheese, lasagna, chicken pasta and French fries.
Erin: you really know the way to my heart!
Jay: Yup, through your sexy stomach.
Erin: Your funny, but very true. I don't want to leave tomorrow, the weather is amazing.
Jay: I know, but we will come back again soon. We'll take more family vacations.
Erin: I would love that.
Jay: Me too!
Erin: Do you wanna get the kids now or after scrabble, cause I brought th.....
Jay: Bedroom now........

You all know what happened next ...........

After a glorious dinner and scrabble session jay went to get the kids, Drew was already sleepy but Maverick and Bella were on the brink of passing out too. Jay bathe the kids and put them in there room. Jay walked a ríos you their room, to his surprise Erin was waiting for him, and jay was just as excited. They played scrabble quietly for the rest of the night.

They didn't have to be up early since their flight was later in the afternoon. So they checked out of the hotel and spent their day at the beach till t was time to leave.

Erin: This was probably one of the best weekends I've ever had. This was a special Mother's Day.
Jay: I wanted to make this as amazing as possible. What was you favorite part?
Erin: Honestly everything, but seeing the pure happiness on their faces was everything to me. I owe that all to you, you are an amazing dad and husband and I love you so much.
Jay: You make my job being their dad so easy because you are truly amazing, I love you my tinker bell.
