Chapter 8

Later that night.

Jay: you ready to tell them the story.
Erin: as ready as I'll every be.
Jay: just know I'm more than happy to call you my wife.
Erin: I'm more than happy to call you my husband. I love you 😘❤️
Jay: you know we can just call them and reschedule. We could be doing some even better 😉😉
Erin: as much as I would love to be doing that, I did promise Burgess so no, maybe when they leave if your good.

Knock✊..knock✊

Erin: comingggg....
Jay:you could be.....
Erin: down boy.. we have company..
Jay:ughhhhhh😩
Erin: come in everyone.. we have pizza and beer in the kitchen. Help yourselves.
Kim: where's Bella?
Jay: she asleep, I guess she needed a nap after a long day.
Kevin: so Lindsay, when do you and your team leave?
Erin: they will tomorrow but, I will be sticking around for a little bit.
Adam: how come your staying?
Erin: cause I missed you all, but I mostly miss my husband☺️🥰.
Kim: okay Tell us the story now.

Erin: fine.. umm where do we start.
Adam: the beginning.
Everyone: 😂😂😂 really Adam.

Erin: okay... before I left you all know ivory tower was coming for me. Bunny was also mixed in with the feds as well. So The FBI came to me, and asked me to join them. At first I was nope then bunny came along so I made an offer. I go if Bunny gets off free of charges. At first I thought I was doing the right thing, over time I figured out what was better for. I accepted the job, she told me I had 24 to report to New York. I went to Hank first to tell him, but he already knew because he called them. After I talked to hank I went and started packing a fast as possible.

Jay: while she at home packing I was sitting in Molly's waiting for her to show, but she didn't. She wasn't answering either so I panicked and went home to check on her. When I got home she was walking out of the bedroom with luggage in her hand. I looked around the apartment and all of her stuff was gone. She told me about the deal and that she had to leave. She kissed me goodbye and I was gonna ask her to marry me right there. I knew I wanted to but it wasn't the right time.

Erin: so I left and went to New York, when I got there I was out on a case immediately. 3 weeks into the job we had to get drug tested. A couple days later the lab called and asked for me to come redo my test, I asked why and she said because I think your pregnant. I left work went straight to the nearest store brought 4 different test. I went to my apartment took them and waited, they were all positive. I called the lab back and told them. I made a doctors appointment, luckily they was able to squeeze me in the next day. I found out I was already 2 months in, I had no symptoms at least at first I didn't. It only lasted about a month. After the first trimester was over, I realized I wasn't coming back to Chicago I had to make it work out there, so I told my boss and he put me on desk duty. That was the safest option, then when I was about 6 months along is when jay came to New York.

Jay: you all saw I was literally struggling, it had been 5 months since you left. Voight threatened to bench me so I asked for some time off to clear my head. I brought a ticket and headed to New York, went straight to FBI Headquarters. I asked the receptionist for Erin, lord behold she comes walking out her office with by far the sexiest baby bump.❤️
Erin: yea whatever I didn't feel sexy.

Jay: anyways I go up to and she is just as surprised as I was. She agree to go out to coffee with me.
Erin: at first I was nervous but I had a lot of explaining to do. I ended up taking a week off work just to spend time with jay and fill him in, as well as catch up on everything. The first day we talked about the pregnancy, avoiding the elephant in the room. Day 2 we continued to ignore it, and just went site seeing. Day 3 everything came to a head, it was a much needed conversation. Day 4 we were back on speaking terms. Day 5,6 we stayed in the apartment cuddled all day on the couch. Day 7 was my appointment, so he was actually able to see the baby for the first, he cried.

Jay: you said you weren't going to bring it up.
Erin: I know,  but in that moment I fell head over heals for him all over again. I saw his eyes and they were just filled with so much love ❤️ and happiness. After the appointment we went baby shopping, we brought everything we could possibly need. Only problem was jay only had a day left with me and I did not want to spend it doing that.☺️
Jay: so I promised to come back out as soon as could. So after I left I started looking for flights to come back. I would fly out Friday nights after work and fly back late Saturday nights.
Adam: so this is why you would blow off meeting us at Molly's.
Jay: yup😁, my 3rd time going back is when I decided to propose. I had took off the Friday I was going to fly out so I could get there early. I got everything I need into place, I texted Erin to have on something nice we are going to dinner.   
I arrived at the apartment she was wearing this fitted sleek black dress with a leather jacket with knee high boots.

Erin: Babe its been 3 years and you still remember.🥺

Jay: how could I forget the moment you stole my heart again.☺️😘

Everybody:awwwwe🥺❤️❤️

Jay: so we went to dinner at keens steakhouse. I have to admit some amazing steak. We got dessert 🍮. I asked world she like to go for a walk in the park. She agreed, while we were walking there was a live band playing in the middle of the park.
Kim:😱🥺🥺🥺
Jay:😁 they were playing thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran. I knew it was her favorite songs. So I asked her to dance. As, they finished I have them the signal and the started playing marry me by Bruno Mars.

Erin: I had no idea what was going on, they were just singing around me then I saw jay down on one knee.

Jay: I said somethings , then asked her to marry me. She said yes.
Everybody:🥺❤️❤️awwww

Erin we spent the weekend together in the apartment. Jay set the entire nursery up.

Kim: how far along we're you when he proposed?

Erin: I was 8 1/2 months. Two weeks later I went into labor while jay was in a fight to New York.

Jay: I landed, checked my phone and literally ran through the airport hailed taxi and got to the hospital. I made it there with like 10 minutes to spare. I got to witness my daughters birth and I'm forever grateful.

Erin: once we were stable I told jay let's get married now. He found a priest to officiate for us. We needed witnesses so I called Teddy and jay called mouse. Before you ask yes mouse live in New York and he visits twice a week. We got married right there in the hospital chapel.

Jay: we FaceTime every night. Call and text throughout the day.  I go visit there very often.

Erin: I sometimes pop up down here to. If I have a 3 or 4 day weekend. I pack me and Bella's bag and hop on a flight and go to the apartment. We don't leave until it's time for us go. We've be here when some of you have come over. I think once it was Kevin and Adam that came over, they wanted you to go to Molly's, then Bella started crying. Adam was like is that a baby, kev did you hear that. 😂😂jay said I was just watching boss baby. Then he said he think he coming down with the flu but next time he would definitely go with you.

Adam: I knew it was a baby.I knew I wasn't go crazy see guys.

Everyone:😂😂😂

Antonio: That is amazing how you both have kept this secret for 3 years, is there anything else your hiding from us?👀

Erin: well I'm staying in Chicago a little bit longer because IM PREGNANT 🤰 We are having another baby 👶..........
