What they don't know

Chapter 22

Jay: Who is it?
Unknown: It's pizza delivery.
Erin: 😂😂 I ordered us some pizza, and the door while I grab some cash.

Jay answered the door and greeted the man, and came walking up to the door with money in her hand. She paid for the pizza, and thank ttuujthe man. They were both standing in the door, and had not realized the car sitting across the street. Bunny sat in her car watching jay and Erin laugh at each other. Bunny was starting to get frustrated, she wasn't informed that her daughter had returned. When jay and Erin closed the door Bunny left, she now knows where they live so she started plotting her return.

Jay: I have to admit I was a little nervous opening that door.
Erin: I was too, but thank goodness it was only this delicious pizza. While we eat we can discuss our daughters birthday that is quickly approaching.
Jay: let's get through the barbecue and Valentine's days first.
Erin: Your right, and it is our first official Valentine's Day as a married couple in Chicago.
Jay: Maybe after the barbecue we could ask hank to watch the kids till Monday.
Erin: umm how about we ask for Sunday only, we don't wanna use up all our days since we can't play yet.
Jay: you have a point there, I'll go call and ask him. Do you wanna grab Bella so she can eat too.
Erin: yea.

Erin went to grab Bella, she was playing with her dolls in her room. So Erin snuck up behind her and grabbed her, Bella let out an adorable shriek. She sent Bella towards the kitchen, then she went to check to on Maverick. He was still sleep, she grabbed the baby monitor and slowly walked out the room. Erin joined Bella and jay back in the kitchen. Jay told her Hank said he would watch the kids, and that if they ever wanted time away just to ask. I told him "we  would definitely get back to him on that". Now let's eat some pizza!

They still had to make dinner for later, so Jay decided to make their favorites chicken Alfredo pasta with garlic bread. Erin went to go change and feed Maverick, when she finished she brought him to the living room so he could join in on the quality family time. A couple hours later the family had ate their dinner, everyone took their baths and was now sitting in the theater room about to to watch princess and the frog for the thousandth time. Mav fell asleep in Erin's arms while Bella fell asleep in Jay's arms. They brought both kids to their room before joining each other in their bedroom.

The next day....

Both jay and Erin woke up early to start prepping for their barbecue, first jay went outside and turned the heater on in the pool. It was warm today, usually it's freezing around this time in February. I guess we got extremely lucky.

Erin: I'll start prepping the food that's cooked needs to be cooked on the grill, so you can go get the grill set up.
Jay: okay, I'll get the fire pit lit to and the torches around the yard to.
Erin: yea, that would be great. It's 9:30am, Bella will be up soon. Let's try to get as much done before she wakes up. I fed Mav earlier so he will be sleep for a minute.
Jay: what time will everyone be here?
Erin: They said between 11:30-12:00, so we got about 2 hours to get everything set up.

Erin started prepping all the ingredients, she got all of her seasonings that she was gonna use out. She seasoned the burgers, steaks, chicken, and then the ribs. All the meat was now seasoned and ready for the grill. She now started on the Mac and cheese, and baked beans. Jay was really good at making desserts so he made a cake and brownies. Everything was coming along great, it was now 11:30 and their friends all started coming over. They still hadn't noticed the car parked across the street, Bunny came back to scope the place out but this time she was in for a surprise.

The door bell rang, and this time Bella and Erin answered the door. They let their friends inside, the postal worker was also walking up the driveway.
Bella: mama can I get it?
Erin: yea, go grab it and say thank you.
Bella: Okay!
Postal: Here you go little lady!
Bella: Thank you 😊! MOMMY I GOT IT, I GOT IT MOMMY!

Bunny sat in her car, now fully pissed off. Not only did Erin return, but now she has her granddaughter as well. She pulled her phone out and made a call.

Bunny: Hey, I need your help.......

The barbecue goes off without a hitch, the kids are enjoying the warm swimming pool. Adam has been begging to hop in so the adult finally took their turn. The younger kids went inside to shower and change, and then eat some food. After the adult had their time in the pool they also went inside showered, and put some warm clothes on. They grabbed their food and sat outside by the fire pit and had a great time. They younger kids came outside and asked to roast some marshmallows. Bella, Ava, Diego, Vinessa, Jordan went back inside and went downstairs to the game room. 

Kevin: I gotta admit, y'all did an amazing job on this food. I thought Er didn't know how to cook.
Erin: wow Kev, that's how it is!
Kevin: last to you lived here, you burnt noodles so yea.
Jay: leave my baby alone, she is an amazing cook.
Erin: Thank you baby, and I learned how to cook in New York. After we got married, I felt it was only right that we both needed to be able to cook. So I hired a private chef to teach me, that why the food is seasoned so well.
Kevin: I did notice that too😂😂.
Adam: Can this cook teach virtually cause I know someone who also needs help.
Kim: Wow, Adam you've always said you liked my cooking.
Adam: it can be improved.
Antonio: 😂😂😂
Kevin: 😂😂 Y'all got room for Adam on your couch.
Erin: 😂😂 I want to make a toast 🥂.
Jay: Can you drink?
Erin: I can but I'm breastfeeding, so ginger ale will work.

Jay begins filling up everyone's glass, but when he got to Kim she asked for ginger ale. The team looked at her, while Erin held back a few tears.
Adam: what's going on?
Kim: Well I wanted to tell you first but since we're surrounded by family, now is a great time. I'm pregnant 🤰!

Everyone quickly surrounded Kim giving her a big group hug. Kim started shedding a few tears, and Adam was still standing next to her in shock.

Erin: Toast to our big happy family, that soon will increase. Love you all, and happy early Valentine's guys.

After the congratulations, the team went inside and headed to the game room with the kids.

A few hours later.....

It was starting to get late so the team all pitched in to help clean up. Erin made to go bags with extra food in it for everyone. One by one everyone started to leave, until it was the original 4 family members left. They got the kids prepped and ready for bed, and while in each of their rooms they packed an overnight bag for each kid.

The house was back clean, and the kids things was ready for them to go. So they went showered and got in their bed, it was a little after midnight.

Erin: Happy Valentine's Day, I love you!
Jay: Happy Valentine's Day Babe, i love you too!
