Chapter 23

The next day Valentine's Day❤️❤️.

Jay was up first so he snuck out of the bed and headed to the store to buy some decorations and to pick up the flowers he had ordered. He got everything he needed, when he got home he made some pink and red heart shaped pancakes, with eggs and bacon. Bella had woken up, so he let her help squeeze some oranges, and cut some fruit. He set Bella down at the table so she could start eating. Jay placed Erin's breakfast on a tray and walked it to their room. He set the tray at the bottom of the bed, and walked up to her and started peppering kiss up her arm, to her neck and finishing at her lips.

Jay: Good morning baby, Happy Valentine's Day.
Erin: Morning handsome, Happy Valentine's Day to you to.
Jay: I made you some breakfast. Here you go.
Erin: Thank you so much. Are the kids still sleep.
Jay: Bella's eating breakfast and according to the monitor, Maverick is waking up. I'll go change him and bring him to you.
Erin: Okay!

Jay left and went into to mavericks room, he heard mav cooing it was so adorable. He left the monitor in the room with Erin, so she was able to here everything.

Jay: Good morning buddy, how are you feeling.
Mav: Oo ah oooh ahhh
Jay: That's good buddy, today your gonna hang with grandpa Hank. I'm going to spend the day with your Beautiful mommy.
Mav: ahhh ah ahh ooh
Jay: I agree, she's the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen. I bet your happy she's your mama too huh.
Mav: AHH OOOH AH
Erin:🥺❤️
Jay: Let's go see mommy.
Mav: Ahh ooh

Jay brought Mav into their room and laid him in the bed.  Erin had just finished her breakfast, so Jay cleared the bed off and brought the tray to the kitchen, he checked on Bella as well. She was now eating her fruits, after she finished jay cleaned her up, and put her outfit on for the day. He went to his room with an outfit for Maverick, Erin was still breastfeeding him.

30 minutes later...
Both kids were now fed and dressed, jay asked Erin to drop both kids off at Hanks house while he cleaned up the kitchen and took a shower.
Erin agreed, so she got up and grabbed Bella while Jay grabbed Maverick and brought them out to the car, jay ran inside to grab both of their bags and put them in the passenger seat. He's kissed both kids before heading back inside.

Bunny quickly put her head down so Erin couldn't see her. Erin drove a block away before bunny started to follow her. Erin pulled up into Hanks driveway and blew the horn. Hank came out and helped her take both kids inside. Erin went back to grab their bags. Bunny just watched both of her grandkids go into Hanks house. Erin stayed at Hanks for a little while longer before heading home.

Back at home Jay was prepping the house for a romantic evening. He went outside to his car and brought all the bags in that he got from the store earlier that day. He placed the ballon around the living room, kitchen and bedroom. Next he put some candles around the living room and he put some small candles creating a path to the bathroom. Next he sprinkled rose petals all of the floor to the bed room. He went back and grabbed all the daisies he brought, he set a dozen by the bed, a dozen by the front door, and a few on their bed. He hung some Valentine's Day streams around the house as well.

Now that the house was prepped, he grabbed her first gift which was a custom robe the had MRS.HALSTEAD stitched on the front pocket.
Later in the afternoon jay had a private chef coming cook for them, so he didn't have to worry about that.

Just as he's finishing up in the bedroom, he hears Erin pulling into the drive way. He's races down stairs so she could see the expression on her face.  She opened the door, and her face said it all.

Erin: Babe🥺❤️, you did not have to go through all this for me?
Jay: Yes, I did! I wanted to show you a little extra love today. You done so much more for me in this last year, the least I could do is show my wife some love. Now come on, so I can show you a great time.
Erin: Jay you know I can't.
Jay: I know baby, that why I have other things set up for us to do. First we're gonna head to the bedroom to get ready for a full body massage.
Erin: What did I do to deserve you.
Jay: I should be asking you that, cause I'm the lucky one.
Erin: I think we're both pretty lucky. You got me daisies.
Jay: I know their your favorite, so I got you a good amount of them. Come on, open gift number 1?
Erin: Babe i don't have a gift for you.
Jay: You already gave me my gift, now open yours.
Erin: what did I give you?
Jay: You gave me you, and our beautiful kids that's more than enough this year. Do you like your gift.
Erin: I love it, MRS. HALSTEAD, i love hearing and saying that.
Jay: I love hear you saying it too. Every time you say it, I know that your mine, I get to have you for forever. Now, are you ready for that full body massage.
Erin: yes i am.

Erin switched and put on her brand new robe. When she walked out of the bathroom she saw jay sitting on the bed in his robe. He smiled, and then grabbed her hand and brought her to the living room. There was 2 tables set up and 2 masseuse standing next to the table.

Jay: I figured we should start off with a couples massage.
Erin: I really love you for this.
Jay: I know!

Jay and Erin spent the next 2 hours getting full body massages. After their massages, jay brought Erin to the nail salon, so she could get her hands and feet done. After they left the salon they went to purple pig for lunch. They both hadn't been there in some time, especially without kids. So Jay and Erin ended up ordering 2 gyro, they skipped on dessert they felt it was to early.

Jay: On to the next adventure, What do you say?
Erin: I'd go anywhere with you!
Jay: 😊, Let go for a walk in Lincoln park.
Erin: okay, 😊.

They drove down to the park, it was approximately 8 minutes away. They got out the car and started walking to the entrance of the park. Jay intertwined their hands, and slowly started to walk, and make small conversation.

Erin: You know growing up I never imagined this life for myself.
Jay: Well, you don't have to imagine it at all, you have that life now.
Erin: I know, but I just wanted to thank you for never giving up on this relationship. I am do profoundly lucky to have a husband like you, and our kids have an amazing role model like you to look up to. Bella won't have suffer like I did as a child, she has both parents who love her so much. They both have such a huge family and they don't even know it.
Jay: Your are so strong, you've overcome a lot. You are the most amazing mother already to our kids. I couldn't have found a better or more amazing woman to build a life and have kids with. You have to give yourself more credit, Your the Queen of my kingdom.
Erin: I love you❤️
Jay: I love you too❤️

After leaving the park Erin suggested they do something out of the normal.

Erin: I have an idea?
Jay: what is it?
Erin: let's get matching tattoos?
Jay: WHAT 😮.
Erin: 😂 let's get tattoos.
Jay: what would we be getting.
Erin: how about our kids initials, it would be small.
Jay: you do remember I have a thing about needles.
Erin: I will be right next to you. Come on baby please.
Jay: ughhh, fineeee.
Erin: Thank you!

They arrived at a local tattoo, Erin signed both of them in. She could tell just how nervous jay was, his leg was bouncing up and down rapidly. Erin went first, and it wasn't so bad. It was now Jay's turn, he started sweat profusely, and he kept moving. The tattoo artist asked Erin to help settle him down. She couldn't think of anything so, she kissed him. She kept kissing him till the tattoo was finished.

Jay: That wasn't so bad!
Erin🤔👀 Really!
Jay: Well if I ever need to get shots again, I now what to do😏.
Erin: Thank you so more for doing this!
Artist: No problem!
Jay: yea, Thank you!

They left the tattoo shop and headed home, jay had left a spare key for the private chef to use to get in their house. He had texted jay that he arrived at the house, and that he was gonna start cooking. Jay told him okay, and that he was free to use anything in the kitchen he needed. When jay and Erin arrived home, they walked into the house, the lights were dimmed, and all the candles jay had laid out were lit. The house smells amazing, Erin sees there a man stand at their stove cooking. Jay's tells her, that he hired a private chef to cook dinner for them tonight.

Both jay and Erin sat down at the table, and the chef started plating their food. He started with appetizers, then the main course and then finished with and amazing dessert. Erin just sat and stared at jay, she honestly didn't understand why he treats her so good.

Too end the day, jay walked Erin to the backyard where he set up an outsider theater for them. He chose her second favorite movie, because her first favorite had to many temptations in it. So instead of picking fifty shades darker, he chose "definitely maybe". There was blankets laid across the yard, and cushions  and pillows too.

Jay: before the movie start here is one last gift 🎁.
Erin: Jay, this is so beautiful 🥺.
Jay: the diamond in the necklace matches you ring and the smaller stones are of me and the kids birthstones.
Erin: I do not say this enough, but you are the best husband ever.❤️
Jay: Your the best wife ever❤️
