Erin: Well..... we are still discussing our plans for once baby Halstead arrives.
Jay: only thing we do know is baby Halstead will be born in Chicago, and she will stay here for her maternity leave.
Erin: after what happened when I left I don't know if ivory tower want me back at CPD. I might be able to transfer back but with FBI.
Antonio: could you still keep your position if you did transfer?
Erin: I won't know till I ask my boss. I still have time 4 1/2 months to be exact.
Kim: I really can't believe this. Like your actually married and you have not 1 but 2 kids. I'm so proud of both of you. Sad we weren't included but, happy you found your way back to each other.
Adam: what time is?
Jay: a little after 1am.
Antonio: as much as we want to hear more stories I think we should be heading out.
Kim: let's go guys.
Kevin: Thanks for having us over.
Jay: we were glad you could make it.
Erin: we will have to go out again soon.
Everyone: goodnight!
Jay: I happy we finally told everyone.
Erin: I am too, now let's get some sleep me and baby are tired 😴.
Jay: alright baby, let's get you to bed. Imma check on Bella first.
Erin: hurry up.
Jay: Bella is stretched out.
As Jay walks back to their bedroom he notices how quiet it is. He calls out for Erin but, she's also stretched out in the bed. Jay walked to his side of the bed and remove his shirt and sweats before hopping in the bed. Once he got comfortable on his side Erin scooted over to him and snuggled into to his side.
Next morning
Jay: morning babe.
Erin: morning babe.
Jay: I'll get Bella up and dressed then start breakfast, how about you go hop in the shower.
Erin: you know I can get Bella.
Jay: I know but I want you to take it easy so go shower and come down for breakfast.
Erin: fine, go get our daughter ready.
Jay left to wake Bella and and get her dressed.
Jay: morning Princess Bella.😁
Bella: dada..
Jay: let's get you dressed so we can make breakfast.
While Erin showered jay dressed Bella and headed down stairs to make breakfast. Jay made some fluffy pancakes with bacon and a side of fruit.
Erin: smells good!
Jay: That's because it is good.
Erin: I think me and Bella will go to the district with you.
Jay: The team wouldn't mind that, and plus hailey never showed up to work so Hanks on the verge of firing her.
Erin: yea I heard some of the team say she wasn't to happy to find out about us. She thought you 2 were meant to be.
Jay: That's her problem cause I already got my other half❤️.
Erin: You know for a detective your very romantic.
Jay: I'm only romantic when it comes to you. Come on let's head to the district.
The family quickly cleaned up and headed out the door and hopping into their car. They took the 15 minute long drive their, and in that time they discussed a little further about their job.
Arriving at the district.
Jay: I'll grab Bella.
Erin: okay!
Trudy: I still can't get use to seeing your face around here, but I happy your here. Is that a baby bump I see.
Erin: I'm happy to be here, and yes I'm pregnant 🤰.
Trudy: let me guess chuckles too.
Jay: detective chuckles and yes baby Halstead is mine.
Trudy: you gave her 2 kids where's the ring 💍😂.
Erin: right here👀.
Trudy: your married too.
Jay: Yes, going on 3 years now.
Trudy: I thought we told each other everything.
Erin: no one knew, but I'll fill you in later on what happened. For now let's get upstairs.
Trudy: oh Er, you had a delivery this morning it upstairs on Chuckles desk.
Jay: Detective chuckles.
They take the short walk up to the bullpen.
Erin: daisies, you got me daisies. You remembered my favorite flower.
Everyone: awww
Jay: They are not from me.
Everyone: ooo😬.
Erin: if not from you then who?🤷♀️
Jay: I don't know read the card.
Erin: I'm Back!!!!!
Jay: I don't like that.

Jay: I'll call the store who delivered them.
Trudy walks up the stair.
Trudy: Erin you got another delivery.
Erin grabs the box from Trudy and opens it. It's a bunch of pictures and theirs a note.
The note: Welcome back to Chicago Detective Lindsay or should I say Mrs. Halstead. It's been a while since we last saw each other. I wonder how sweet little Bella is doing.
