Suddenly, Wan Yunque stiffened and looked around.

"Something even more wrong than it already is?" asked Song Anyue in a small voice.

"I heard something..." mumbled Wan Yunque, but than realization hit her, "everyone take cover! Someone's on the roof!"

The second she finished, loud crashing noises came from above and the ceiling fell. Dust filled the air, wood falling everywhere. A few disciples were hit and had to be escorted to safety by their friends, that included Song Anyue, she had an ugly scratch on her shoulder, created by a broken board, thankfully for her, it wasn't deep and didn't bleed much, altho it did extend down her entire arm. The dust didn't even get the chance to settle, when they heard the distinct sound of a growling fierce corpse from within. And before they could even catch their breaths, there were swords swinging in the air. Lan Sizhui and Lan Jingyi did a good job deflecting, while Wan Yunque tried to at least calm the creature, but it was to no vail, as the corpse was controlled by the amulet. From not too far away, they could hear Wei Wuxian play his flute, at times it seemed affective, but it wasn't enough.

"Oh that damned thing," gritted Wan Yunque her teeth, as the only thing she could do was take cover behind Lan Sizhui.

"A-Yu can't you- A-Yu!? Are you okay? Was it poisoned or...?" Wan Yunque's angry face turned to one of shock, when she gazed at her friend. She stood frozen in spot, pale as the moon and as stiff as a statue, the only indication she didn't turn into a fine jade statue was her shaking lower lip.

"A-Yu," Wan Yunque shook her, "snap out of it! We need your help over here!"

"I-I'm sorry! I can't!" squeaked the girl and she started shaking on her own.

"What do you mean you can't!" screeched Wan Yunque, she was angry and confused and, most of all scared.

"Watch out!" cried out Lan Jingyi suddenly, but it was too late. A sword, aimed at Song Anyue's neck was approaching too fast for anyone to do anything and in seconds her throat was spilling blood onto the floor.

Except it wasn't. Just before the sword could make any impact with her skin, it stopped dead in its tracks, finally letting the dust settle.
It revealed a fierce corpse of a cultivator. His hair was in disarray, but his features were handsome and if it wasn't for the black veins and dark eyes, be could be considered an extremely good looking man. He wore all black clothing, with two sword scabbards on his back, accordingly, he was also holding two swords. One of them was made of pure steel and it was very beautiful, on the edge, there was a name engraved into it: Fuxue. The hand with this sword was currently resting by his side, while the other hand, which was currently still aiming for Song Anyue's throat, held a much more sinister looking weapon. The steel used was pith black, while the hilt was decorated with bones and flowers. At the place, where edge meets the hilt was a black skull with intricate flowers growing out of its eyes, the swords name? KulouTou. The "skull shaper".

"Quickly, tie him up," instructed Wei Wuxian, who seemed to be the only one left with a clear mind. In an instance, there were about three or so ropes tying the man together, he wasn't resisting, growling, or anything really, he was just looking at Song Anyue with a stone cold expression.

"What kind of a sword is that?" spat Jin Ling, as he looked at KulouTou.

"What's going on?" turned Lan Jingyi to the pale girl.

"T-that sword," started Song Anyue in a shaking voice, "the sword "KulouTou" is mine."

"Song Lan," whispered Wei Wuxian, as if he remembered something, he hit himself in the head and quickly made his way over to the girls.
