As always a morning came. Lan Wangji paid for everyone, apologized to the owner for his companions behaviors and they were on their merry way.

It was a warm nice day and the road lead them through a fresh looking forest full of greens and sometimes (sadly) blueberries.
Song Anyue was currently ahead for once, stuffing her face with the delicious fruit, her mood was off all day, so she was allowed to wander away as not to annoy the others. She was calmly walking and looking for a new bush, when she suddenly felt the mood around her shift...

"Is it just me, or did it suddenly get all dark and gloomy?" she yelled at the people behind her.

"Your fantasy is going wild Stupid Human!" replied Fox, "and Wei Wuxian is telling you to come here if you have that feeling!"

"Is something wrong?" asked the man, when she appeared in front of them. Despite her best efforts, her sleeves and fingers were stained blue, but that was the least of anyones concerns.

"Meh, she's just letting her mind go wild," repeated himself Fox and waved his hand, "remember, she once almost scared herself to death."

"That's why I'm asking," rolled Wei Wuxian his eyes and laid a comforting hand on the girls shoulder, "so, are you alright?"

"Oh yeah, everything's peachy," fake smiled Song Anyue and for once nobody was convinced.

"Don't give me that look," she exasperatedly exclaimed after a short while, "alright, alright. It's nothing really I've just been having this feeling... like sooner, rather than later something bad is going to happen... it's just a feeling tho, it'll be fine."

"Now you're making me uneasy," replied Wan Yunque, "also, why didn't you tell us?"

"It's not important," shrugged Song Anyue. But it was important and Anyue was clearly visibly uncomfortable.

"Honestly, sometimes-" Wan Yunque wanted to continue, but was interrupted by the monotone voice of Lan Wangji: "We're here."

They were on small crossroads, three ways leading in different directions and 2-3 houses nearby.

"Please tell me we are not taking the thin creepy one where the sun doesn't shine," wished Song Anyue.

"Well, that's the one," laughed Wei Wuxian nervously and pat her head in apology. Than he went to question the only bystander nearby to ask what exactly to expect after going down to the creepy land.

"I... hate this day," decided Song Anyue.

"Much hasn't happened yet..." argued Wan Yunque.

"Yeah... it's gonna happen... I just know it," piped Song Anyue and started sulking for apparently no reason.

"So," came Wei Wuxian back, he was surprisingly quick, "according to the good man over there, the road leads to "Yi city". The people there specialize in funerals and funeral equipment, people don't really live long there and as far as he is aware, nobody used this road for years."

"So down the creepy narrow way to a hell hole of funerals, off we go," commented Song Anyue, voice dripping with sarcasm. And she pushed Fox in front of her. The path was too small to let more than one person at a time through, so they advanced in the order of: Fox, Song Anyue, Wan Yunque, Wei Wuxian, Lan Wangji and soon made it to the front gates of the city, or more like a town, even better a village, from what they could gather, it was not very big.

The initial impression was however not to be trusted, since the entire place seemed enveloped in even more fog, than what they saw on their way there. It was seeping from cracks and coated their surroundings an ominous white.
