"Bark! Bark!"
"Was that... Fairy?" quickly reacted Wan Yunque.
"Probably, something must have happened, let's get out of here," nodded Wei Wuxian.
Lan Wangji, Song Anyue and Fox ran out first, Wei Wuxian and Wan Yunque were slower, since they were holding Jin Ling.
"Someone was here," frowned Lan Wangji and picked up a piece of cloth, which was probably torn by Fairy, the ferocious beast.
"A-Yu, go with Lan Zhan and chase them down," ordered Wei Wuxian as soon as he was out, "me and A-Lu will take care of Jin Ling, we'll meet at the hotel."
It seemed like Lan Wangji wanted to argue something, but Wei Wuxian and Wan Yunque were already on their way and there was a strange person to catch.
He settled for and uncertain look in the other two's direction and nodded at Song Anyue, who was already sitting on Fox's back*, so that they could move quickly.

It didn't take much time for Wei Wuxian and Wan Yunque to make their way into town and get the Kid to their room.
"This Kid is gonna be the death of me," shook Wan Yunque her head and stretched her arms, which became sore from holding Jin Ling for so long in the same position.
"Is he gonna be okay?" she asked afterwards.
"He'll be fine once he rests for a while," nodded Wei Wuxian.
Wan Yunque let out a sigh of relief, but worry returned to her face seconds later: "Is it just me, or is there resent seeping out of him?"

Wei Wuxian nodded a bit. It didn't take long for them to find the curse mark on his right leg.
"Wow..." Wan Yuque was looking at it in what could almost be described as fascination, "that's the blackest, dare I say biggest curse mark I've ever seen. If we don't count the one Fox makes, of course."
"This child," laughed Wei Wuxian sadly, "how does he manage to get himself in the middle of all trouble?"
"He gets that from somewhere," replied Wan Yunque with a pointed look at Wei Wuxian, which actually got her a laugh from him, as he checked where has the mark seeped up to. Thankfully it didn't reach his chest yet.
"I wish we had Fox here, he could neutralize it," grumbled Wan Yunque.
"Fox isn't always going to be here, now we have to take care of this ourselves, now-" as Wei Wuxian started explaining, suddenly Jin Ling woke up and quickly covered his slightly exposed chest.
"W-what are you doing!?" he near screamed at the two above him and Wan Yunque almost winced, her ears were still hurting from that awful "man-eating-god-knows-what-it-actually-is" experience and a screeching Jin Ling was not helping.
"Relax, if we didn't want to help you, we would have let you suffocate in that wall," tried Wan Yunque to calm him down.
"You're acting as if your friend wasn't the one who put me in there," argued Jin Ling, as he set up and quickly shuffled around, until he found his sword, safe at his side, and unleashed it, pointing it at Wan Yunque in one moment, at Wei Wuxian in the other.
"A-Yu would NEVER do that! And do you think she could, with Hanguang-jun watching her every move?" spat Wan Yunque, clearly angry with him, "and if you want to know, she was the one who got you out."
Jin Ling seemed to stop for a second, thinking.
"That's right, nothing to be scared of here," nodded Wei Wuxian, using the sudden silence to his advantage, "calm down Jin Ling."

He actually seemed to be calmer after that, which was noted as a miracle by both demonic cultivators in the room.
"Anyway, I, nor you can stay here! Uncle is in town, he'll be looking for me," told them Jin Ling and he got up from the bed.
"Jiang Che- ugh... sect leader Jiang is here?" blinked Wan Yunque in surprise.
Jin Ling nodded: "Yeah, so... watch it!" And than he sprinted outside, before anyone could stop him.
"Dang it! If he doesn't get rid of that thing soon, he'll be in some serious trouble!" cursed Wei Wuxian and they both ran out.

Finding Jin Ling this time was no easy task. Seems like when you don't really try, he's everywhere and now? It was like he got sucked in to the earth for the second time, or something.
"Kid! That's what he is, lady Jiang forgive me, a stupid Kid!" shouted Wan Yunque, exhaustedly, when they walked around for more than 20 minutes.
"Is the Wuye-ge exasperated? And here I thought, I'd never see the day," laughed Wei Wuxian.
"Your nephew is making it too easy," proclaimed Wan Yunque and started sulking on the ground.
"We still gotta find him," turned Wei Wuxian serious again, "come on."
He offered Wan Yunque a hand, which she reluctantly took (almost let her fall once) and they were off to looking again.
