||Office Runaway||

When you arrived at the table, you felt kind of bummed about the whole food and Kirsten situation, but didn't want to bring it up to you're friends so just kept quiet. "Hey guys!" you say with a fake smile sitting down. "Oh hey guys! I noticed you guys were late, what happened" Raven asked smiling back. "Oh uh, I just dropped something" you lie hoping she doesn't find it suspicious. "Ohh, alright," she says as she continues to eat, "You want some? You look hungry" She says handing me a piece of her sandwich. You were really hungry so of course, you said yes and took a piece, you then split a piece and handing the other piece to Jake as he thanked you. After you guys talked and laughed, lunch was eventually over and you guys had to go back to class. "See you guys next period!" you say waving to all of them goodbye as you walk to 4th period. You walk into class and sit in your usual seat next to Albert and see him unpacking his stuff. "Oh hey, y/n," he says smiling at you as you unpack as well. "Hey," you say fake smiling back at him remembering the Kirsten thing again, you knew it wasn't his fault you were just annoyed. "Sorry about the food thing, I was going to do something but-" he says not completing his sentence. "Oh no it's fine, I mean you spent your money on it I should be the one apologizing." You say realizing he bought it for you. "Well I don't really care about the money part, I just wanted to do something nice for you," he says laughing a bit putting down his bag. "Oh, yea right I forgot you're a rich you tuber" you answer sarcastically laughing. "Well I wouldn't say that but- anyway I just wanted to apologize and ask if you wanted to go get some more after school," he asks smiling. "Hmm, sure!" You say happily.

After a while of silence, Albert asks, "So are you ready for the test?" Your heart drops as you turn to him, "The what?!" "The test idiot, look at the board," he says laughing at you. You turn to the board as you read "First test of the Fall semester today!" You tune back to him even more worried and say, "I didn't know there was a test today what the hell?" "That's why you should pay more attention in class" he answers sarcastically twirling his pencil. "Says you," you say sarcastically getting out a pencil. He laughs and says, "But don't worry, it should be easy" "I hope so" you sigh as the teacher walks in. "Ok class, I'll be passing out the papers now, and remember, no cheating and no talking!" You mocked the teacher in your head as you get your paper. ~Well, here goes nothing~

*time skip*

It is now about 10 minutes into the test and you've been answering the questions as best as you could, but you were stuck on the second to last one. As you were trying to focus on the question you hear a faint, "y/n, y/n!" You turn to see if you were just hearing things, but it turned out it was Albert. "What?" you whisper back. "Do you know the answer for number 9?" he whispered. That was the question you were on. "No! Do you think I studied for this stupid thing?" you add. You could see Albert trying to hold back his laugh and so were you. Before you could even start focusing on the question again, you hear a loud voice calling your name, "Y/n and Albert, what's going on here?" Your heart begins to rave as you feel everyone's attention lane on you guys, you turn to Albert and he looks surprised as well. You then look to your teacher as they look at you with annoyance as you say, "What? Oh, nothing he was- asking me for a pencil" "He has a perfectly good pencil in his hands." the teacher then says even more annoyed than before. You look towards the pencil in his hands trying to find a different excuse when you just blurt something out. "No uh that's not a pencil- that's an eraser- shaped like a pencil.." you say nervously smiling trying to play it off. "Y/n and Albert go to the office, now." the teacher says going to her desk to fill out office slips. "Wow, great excuse genius" Albert whispers sarcastically. "At least I tried!" you whispered back panicking. "I mean hey at least we don't have to take the test anymore." As soon as he finished his sentence the teacher hands you guys the slips and says, "And come back to my class after school, you'll finish the test there." Both of you get up with your bags not wanting to talk back to the teacher, and leave the class.

"Wow, thanks for jinxing it, genius," you say in the same tone he did before as you both start walking down the hallway. "Well, now we have more time to study," he says trying to lighten up the mood. "But we're literally in trouble right now, and I don't like to get in trouble!" you answer still nervous. "It's not that bad," he says laughing a bit. "But you always go to the office so of course it's not that bad," you say mocking him. "I mean, unless we just leave school," he says smirking at you. "You're joking right, we're going to get in even more trouble," you say annoyingly looking at him. "I do it all the time, the security here sucks, plus we can just sneak back inside during passing period before lunch," he says assuringly. "I've never skipped school before- what if we get caught or something?" you sigh with a worried look on your face. "Well we're legally adults so- they can't really do anything," Albert says bravely, "Cmon just do it!" "No" you answer just wanting to get to the office. "Yes" "No" "Yes!" No!" You both continue to go back and forth for a while until you finally give in, "Fine!" "I knew I could break you" Albert laughs sarcastically. "Where are we even gonna go?" you sigh realizing what you're about to do. "I don't know, we'll just see where the wind takes us," he says smiling. You take a deep breath to relax yourself since you were still kind of nervous about the whole situation, "How much longer until passing period" Albert then pulls out his phone and says, "Uhh, about 40 minutes" You both look at each other as you slightly smile, "Alright so we've got 40 minutes, let's do this"

"Alright follow me," he says smiling back grabbing your arm and running in the opposite direction of the office. You were quite surprised when it happened but didn't question it. You guys ran for a bit until you got to the bathroom. "Why are we going in the boy's bathroom?" you ask looking around. "There's an open window in here, it's what I use to get outside the school" he answers opening the door as you both walk inside. It felt kind of weird going into the boy's bathroom although nobody was in there. "Ew you guys pee in those?" you say laughing about at the urinals. "Yea- you don't?" he says sarcastically looking at you confused. "What the hell- no how would that even work?" you say laughing. "Want me to show you how they work?" he answers sarcastically smirking. "Yea uh how about we don't do that," you say with a disgusted look on your face as you cover your eyes in case he tried anything. "Y/n I was kidding jeez," he says laughing as he walks towards the window. You uncover your eyes and sarcastically laugh, "Yea I knew that-"

"Anyways, how are we supposed to get down?" you ask changing the subject. "I'll go out first, then I'll catch you, kind of like that ladder incident," he says sarcastically getting onto the window putting his legs through. "You know you could have explained that without bringing that up again," you say walking towards the window embarrassed by the memory. The window wasn't too high up, but one wrong move jumping down could possibly lead to a sprained ankle. Albert eventually makes it down safely as you walk up to the window and put your legs through. It led to a long hallway type of thing which was secured by a metal fence, but as you looked farther you could see it let to the parking lot opening. ~Welp, there's no going back now~

I wonder what skipping school is like- the only thing close to that ive done is sneaking to Starbucks after school LOL

btw i'm in second semester rn and it's already getting harder :,) wish me luck WHY CANT SPRING BREAK COME FASTER
