||Apology||

The group then makes it to their destination as the bell rings, "Bye guys!" you say as everyone waves goodbye and walks to their homerooms. Homeroom was boring as always, and even though your friends were in some of your next classes, it was still quite boring because you could barely talk to them, and then lunch came. You and Jake walk to lunch together again as always as he starts the conversation, "Make sure not to bump into anyone this time ok?" he says laughing referring to what happened last time. You sigh and laugh a bit as you say, "I'm not going to run into-" You were cut off by, of course, bumping into someone else. ~wow this is just great~ you say in your head as you look up at the person. "Oops, my bad I didn't mean-" you were about to finish the apology when you realize who it was, it was Jayden, you then remembered what you said to Aija and thought this was the perfect way to talk to him. "No it's fine, I wasn't looking where I was going either so-" Jayden says awkwardly laughing. You laugh a bit with him trying not to make it awkward, then realize Kirsten isn't there with him, which was weird. "Oh uh actually, I needed to talk to you about something kind of important-" you say hoping he would agree to talk with you.

"Oh.. alright," he says looking kind of confused. "Oh uh Jake you can go to lunch I have to talk to Jayden real quick," you say to him fake smiling. "Alright.. don't take too long," he says walking away waving kind of confused. You then start getting kind of scared to even talk to him, "Ok so.. just asking, you're still dating Kirsten right?" "Uh, yea-" he says leaning against the lockers playing with his sweater strings. "Do you happen to know what you did.. at the party?" you ask hoping he did. "No.. not really" he answers trying to remember. "Well the thing I wanted to talk to you about is that you uh, well you kind of... made out with Aija at the party.." you sigh kind of scared of his reaction. "Wait what?!" he says with a shocked look on his face. "Oh, I thought you knew" you then say surprised. "What of course I didn't know I would never do that on purpose!" he says still looking shocked. "So you were drunk?" you ask. "Yea apparently, the only thing I kind of remember was apologizing to her," he says now looking worried. "Well uh, luckily nobody important noticed, I hope," you say trying to lighten the mood a bit. "What am I going to do now?!" he says kind of panicking hiding his face in his hands. "Well maybe you should go apologize to her.." you suggest. He looks at you then at the cafeteria and sighs, "Alright, I'll go apologize... And uh, sorry you had to witness that" he then adds fake laughing a bit as he starts walking away. "No problem, good luck!" you say fake laughing as well. ~ I hope this goes well...~ You then start walking down the hallway headed towards your lunch table.

Aija POV

As I was eating my lunch, I look towards the hallway to see Jayden walking towards our table and y/n coming towards us shortly after. I think she just talked to him about the situation, and even though I wanted to get the situation sorted out I still felt really awkward talking to him. I whispered to Raven sitting next to me, "Jayden is coming what do I do?!" I already told her about the situation over face time yesterday when I got home from the party. I see her look over a bit to see him then looked back at me, "Just stay cool, he's probably just coming to sort things out." I listen to her words and try to calm myself down even though I was literally dying inside. It's like I had butterflies in my stomach, but if the butterflies were like moths, well you get the point. As I was trying to calm myself down I hear, "Hey, Aija, can I talk to you about something?" It was Jayden. I looked up at him still feeling terrified and said "Oh.. yea sure" I got up from my seat and followed him to the part of the cafeteria that was empty. He looked at me with a guilty look on his face and sighed, "I wanted to talk to you about the party, y/n told me about what happened.." "Yea.. y/n told me too, and I'm sorry I let it happen I was drunk and wasn't really thinking-" I was trying to apologize but he cut me off, "No no it wasn't your fault, I was drunk too, I'm sorry for kissing you even though I don't quite remember it, and I'm sorry about the whole Kirsten situation too I shouldn't of just left you like that." He said looking disappointed.

I wanted to know the reason why he broke up with me in the first place so I asked, "Well why did you break up with me, you never told me." "Well, she told me not to tell you this.. but you deserve to know, don't tell anyone though ok?" he answered looking kind of worried. I was scared of what he was going to say but I really wanted to know so I just nodded as he continued. "I didn't even want to date Kirsten in the first place, she manipulated me into it, she said if I don't.. then she would hurt you. I don't know why she wanted to date me put but I really didn't want you to get hurt, which is why I stopped talking to you and hung out with Kirsten and them more." I was shocked about everything he just told me and actually felt quite bad for him. "But Jayden you know you could have told me, we could have worked it out together" "I know but, I don't know what she's capable of so, I just have to roll with it until I can figure something out," he says assuringly. At that moment I just wanted to punch Kirsten in the face, but calmly I said, "Well I'm glad you told me this, now I know what's going on" "Yea, and we can still be friends in the meantime, if you want" he says smiling trying to lighten the mood. That sentence kind of hurt me, although it was for the best I just wanted to get him back already. "Yea, we can be friends still" I answered him trying to smile. "Alright, well see you later," he says walking away as I wave goodbye. I sigh as I start walking back to your table trying to think of a plan to get Kirsten away from him, but nothing comes to mind. ~this is going to be a roller coaster~
