As you stared at the beads on the floor being washed away by the rain, you didn't even realize Jake's car already left the parking lot, he was gone. The only noises you could hear was the muffled music and the water that hit the floor. Your heart felt like it was broken into a million pieces, and you couldn't even tell if you were crying or not. Until you heard a familiar voice behind you, "Y/n- why are you standing here in the rain?" You turned around and figured out it was just Albert, but you couldn't even tell him what happened, you were speechless. The only words that came out of your mouth were, "I think I'm ganna go home now-" "Wait what? why?" he replied confused as you took out your phone to get an uber. "I don't want to be here anymore-" you answered as you felt your throat closing up.

"..What happened-?" he asked worriedly. You took a deep breath and wiped your face before continuing, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you where I was going before I ran off, I thought if I could fix this we could all go back to normal but now I think I ruined it to the point he won't even look at us anymore" "Who Jake-? Was he here-?" "Yea- we uh- got into a fight- apparently he was working with Kirsten and when I tried to tell him that we'd forgive him he said I should move back to California-" you continued as your pain grew. "He what?! But why would he-" "It's fine though- I'll be ok, I mean we tried our best right?" you cut him off putting a smile on your face. You honestly wanted to break down right then and there, but you couldn't properly process he was gone.

"Maybe we should tell the others about it, they can help" he suggested assuringly. "No it's fine, let them have fun. Plus, maybe he didn't mean what he said-" you added trying to make yourself feel better, "But uh- go have fun! I'll just- be at home" You saw the worried look on his face and honestly felt really bad for everything that happened. "I know you're feeling really terrible right now- and I hate seeing you sad but you can't just pretend like everything's ok" he sighed. "But that's the thing I don't know how to feel- It's like I don't feel anything" you answered looking down at your bracelets once more, "There's nothing more we can do- he's gone Albert."

There was a moment of silence before Albert finally spoke, "Well- even if he is gone, at least we still have each other. Plus maybe he was just in a bad mood, he'll talk to us again eventually!" You looked back up to him and saw a smile on his face causing you to smile as well. "And whatever this whole letter thing is, he'll forget about it eventually. So don't feel bad about it, it's not your fault" he added looking towards the entrance of the parking lot. As you realized your uber was here you quickly responded, "Oh my ubers here, I'll- see you at school" And before he could reply, you hugged him, "And thank you" "No problem," he laughed hugging you back, "I'll tell the others you just felt sick and had to go home, but yea I'll see you at school"

As you began to walk away you heard him say from a distance, "Text me when you get home!" "Ok ok, I will" you laughed before getting into the car. After getting into the car, your smile faded, but you tried to distract yourself by watching the cars go by outside the window. But Jake's words kept ringing in your head, why would he want you to move back with your parents-?

A couple hours went by and the quietness made you feel even worse as you finally processed everything. You didn't know what to do with the bracket ok your wrist, you couldn't even look at it. You didn't even know if you had the strength to go to school. All you could do was cry.

*another time skip*

School finally started back up and you were feeling just as terrible as you did before. Although Jake did sometimes talk to the others you still feel like you ruined their friendships, so you distanced yourself from them too. Albert noticed your distance and tried to talk to you about it, but you tried to convince him you were fine. This continued for a while, you ignored mostly everyone and kept your pain to yourself. You noticed Jake still never talked to Albert, but talked to the others more and more, which made you think this was the right thing to do, until today.

(Aijas POV)

Y/ns been acting really weird lately, she's been ignoring us and she mostly wears hoods and hides herself. Every time one of us tries to ask what's wrong she keeps smiling saying she wasn't feeling well, even Albert said it was nothing, but we knew something was up. Last period finally arrived and I was dying to get out of here. I was hoping I'd get to talk to y/n after school, and so was everyone else.

The bell eventually rang and everyone started heading out the door. Before I could call out to her she already walked out the door, so me and the others rushed out as well. "Do you think she's mad at us or something?" Kaden asked worriedly. "Probably not- I mean we didn't do anything- I think" I answered hoping she wasn't, "Jake have you talked to her recently?" "Nope" he answered guiltily. I've noticed y/n and Jake haven't been talking lately either, I was getting kind of worried.

But as we continued down the hallway, I got a weird text message. I heard the notification as I went to the app, it was from an unknown number.

Hey this is Aija right?

It really creeped me out that they had my name, but I thought it was important since they knew.

And they texted back almost immediately
