I honestly had no idea what they were talking about, they're probably just trying to be annoying. Plus y/n tells us everything why would she lie? But I decided to ask what it was so I could see what lies they'd come up with now.

Her and Jake had a big fight at prom, which
explains why they haven't been talking

She even convinced Albert not to tell you guys

Yea they were definitely trying to start something. Before I could tell Jake about the weird messages, he already starting walking to his car. "I'll talk to you guys tomorrow" he called out worriedly as we said our goodbyes as well. Although I didn't believe this weirdo, Jakes been acting weird lately too. I mean I'm glad he started talking to us again but- now it's y/n who's been more distant from us. But I've had enough of their nonsense, as I look back at my phone to block them, I saw that they sent me pictures of their conversation they had with Jake- There was even a screen recording confirming it was him.

As I read the messages over and over, I got even more confused, why would she keep this from us? She wouldn't lie to us- and why didn't Jake say anything either?! Is everyone just betraying us? I thought we were all friends...

(end of Aijas POV)

As you thought to yourself more and more, you decided tomorrow was the day you were finally going to talk to your friends and tell them about everything. You felt bad for keeping it to yourself before but you realized if you'd tell them they could help you with the situation. Well, you were quite skeptical at first, but Albert eventually convinced you it was the right thing to do. You couldn't wait to finally talk to them again!

*time skip*

The next day arrived and you decided not to wear a hoodie today since it was going to be quite hot. And although you were still devastated about Jake, you put a smile on your face hoping today's the day you'd get help from your friends. You honestly felt really good this morning and had a lot of hope as you drove to school.

As you hoped our the car you saw Albert walking down the parking lot towards the entrance, you saw your friends there as well. You quickly got your bag and closed the door as you ran up to him, "Hey Albert!" "Oh hey y/n! You seem really happy today" he laughed kind of confused. "Yea I'm planning to tell the others about the whole Jake situation thing! I'm pretty sure they can help" you answered with a smile. "Yea they'll for sure help, plus Jake seems to be more in a good mood now so maybe he forgot about it" he replied smiling back. "Oh and thanks for convincing me to do this, I just hope they don't get mad I've been keeping it a secret," you say as a worried feeling appeared in your stomach.

"Don't worry they'll understand!" he answered as you make it up the stairs of the entrance, "Go talk to them I'll be right back, I have a test today and need some books out of my locker," "Alright just hurry up before I have a panic attack" you sigh trying to keep a smile on your face. He laughed as you said your quick goodbyes before you slowly approach the group. For some reason, Jake wasn't with them, but you were glad. "Hey- guys," you say awkwardly with a smile.

And their reaction was not what you expected, they looked like they haven't seen you a day in their lives, almost like they despised you. "Sorry I haven't been uh- talking to you lately, I've just been dealing with stuff but uh- yea I actually wanted to talk about it" you added hoping they'd forgive you. There was a moment of silence for a second before Aija sighed, "Oh now you want to tell us" "We already know about Jake." Jayden added as he looked back down at his phone. "Wait what-? Who- Did Jake tell you?" you asked confused. "No, someone else did, but that's not the point. Why would you keep this a secret for so long?" Raven answered with the same disappointed look on her face.

"I didn't mean to I swear I just-" "Stop making excuses! ...You don't trust us do you. And remember that time at the cafe you told me that I could always tell you everything because we're friends or whatever, why not stick to your own advice" Aija added annoyed, "And you even had Albert lie for you?! You could easily just tell us!"

You didn't even know what was happening at this point, you had so many questions and the hope you once had was all gone. "I thought you trusted us-" Kaden replied sadly. "But guys I do trust you! It was just a lot to handle I didn't know what to do I was going to tell you today!" you quickly responded trying to defend yourself. "Whatever y/n, we're going to class." Aija sighed before the rest followed her into the school. Although you badly wanted to prove yourself to them, you didn't know how to, plus you didn't want to annoy them even more than you've already had.

~What just happened...~

You thought avoiding them would of been the best thing to do, but now everyone's turned against you. How were you going to get Jake back now?! Not only did you feel like a total screw-up, the world was turning against you. But before you could have a break down you heard Alberts voice from in front of you. "Hey y/n I'm back! Did you tell them?" he asked confused about why you looked so worried. As you were about to respond you remembered something, ~Wait- the only people that originally knew about the fight were me Albert and Jake, and if Jake didn't tell them then..~

"What's wrong?" he asked again cutting off your thoughts. As you both stared at each other, you couldn't comprehend it, you told him not to tell anybody- "Oh uh, nothings wrong but uh, I'm ganna go to class now so I'll talk to you later" you responded trying to keep your cool before walking away. ~It all makes sense, he's always been trying to make me tell them, but he's my friend why would he do that?!~

*time skip*
(Alberts POV)

School was almost over but I kept wondering why y/n ignored my question earlier. when she walked away she looked kind of mad at me and still ignored us during lunch, so I was hoping I could ask what was wrong after school today. as the bell rang I quickly got my stuff and walked out the door. I walked past the others and they looked more annoyed than usual, I hope nothing bad happened this morning.

I eventually made it to the entrance and literally I saw y/n about to walk out the door. She looked sort of upset but I called out to her anyways, "Y/n!" when she turned around I didn't expect her to look so annoyed when she realized it was me, I was kind of confused so I walked up to her and asked, "What happened? I thought you guys made up?" "No, we didn't make up Albert." she said as she started to walk faster. "Wait why what's they say?" I asked again speeding up as well. "Aija told me that they knew about it already, and she said Jake didn't tell them" she responded in an annoyed happy tone. "..Then who told them?" I asked confused.

"Well if the only people who knew were me Jake and you and me or Jake didn't say anything, who do you think it was?" she replied annoyed. "Wait what but I didn't tell them!" Of course I was confused about why she accused me, well it does seem like I did- but I didn't even talk to them! "Then who was it?!" she snapped back. "I don't know! Someone must of spied on us or something! I have no idea how they could of known" I replied trying to defend myself. "You can stop trying to make up lies, the only person it could of been is you!" "But I swear I didn't tell them anything! I genuinely have no idea what happened"
As we continued to go back and forth I could barely defend myself, whoever told them must've known shed blame me for it, they would of known everyone's situation and how we don't talk to each other that much anymore.

"But why would I tell them, you know you can trust me!" I snapped back. I never wanted any of this to happen, I wanted to talk to the others but I knew they'd only push me away. She paused for a moment before she sighed, "You know what I don't care anymore, you can lie all you want. I can't believe all this happened because I trusted you." as she walked off to her car. "Y/n I told you I didn't-!" I paused realizing from her perspective I was just lying over and over again.

I hated that I didn't even have enough evidence to prove myself, everything led up to me, I couldn't blame her for accusing me. But I had to find out who it was. I had to talk to Jake.
