||Dinner Disaster||

As you and Albert were walking down the street you felt your phone buzz in your pocket. You reach your hand into your pocket and grabbed your phone out to see it was your mom who had texted you. The message read,

"Hi sweetie, you and your friends are free to come over tomorrow to have dinner with us! You can use today to get settled in, love you! ❤️"

You smile at the text as you unlock your phone to begin to type back. "Who's that?" Albert asks peeking at your phone. You forgot he was there for a moment but reply, "Oh it's just my mom, she said we can come over tomorrow for dinner" "Ohh, should we get something at the store for them?" You were confused about what he meant so you asked, "Like what?" "Like a gift," he said smiling. "It's a grocery store what are we gonna get them, juice boxes?" you reply sarcastically. "I mean there has to be something there, we can get them their favorite food or something" he laughed as you guys approach the entrance door.

You think for a moment after he said that, it would be nice to get your parents something, "Well, they both like cheesecake" "They have cake made out of cheese?!" he asked sarcastically surprised. "What no it's not actually cheese cake-" you laugh wondering if he was joking or not. ~Now I see how Jake and him get along so well, jeeze~ you think to yourself laughing a bit. You then pull out a shopping cart from inside the store as you both start walking through the store. As you both were going through the aisles getting food and drinks for you and your friends, you finally make it to the bakery section. "It smells so good over here," you say smelling the chocolate sentenced air. "It makes me want to buy everything here" Albert replied walking over to where the cake was. "We barely have enough to get the stuff in the cart how are we gonna buy the whole bakery?" you add sarcastically pushing the cart to where Albert was. "It's called stealing" he whispered kind of loudly as he grabbed a cheesecake and put it in the cart. "I'm not trying to go to jail!" you whisper back laughing. He lugged to himself as you both start heading to the registers to pay for your stuff.

You finish paying as you both carry a bag in each hand and start heading back to the apartment. A couple minutes later you've finally arrived and you felt like your arms were gonna fall off. "Guys we're home!" you say kind of loudly as you realize they aren't on the couch anymore. "Where'd they go?" Albert asks as he starts putting the items in the fridge. You shrugged your shoulders as you start looking down the hallways and checking in their rooms, it turned out they were all sleeping, "They're in their rooms sleeping"

"Oh wow," he laughed as he starts eating the cookies you guys bought. You look outside and realize it was way darker than when you guys left, you guessed it was around 7 pm, "So, do we just start making dinner or something?" "Yea I guess so, just try not to burn the house down." "Who said I was doing it?" you say back with an annoyed look on your face. "I haven't cooked in my life! The only thing I know how to make is hot pockets" he said laughing. You sigh and say, "Fine but you have to help"  He agreed as you start getting stuff out of the fridge thinking of what you should make, "How does a burger with mac and cheese sound?" "Sounds good" he answered smiling putting the cookie packet back in the cabinet.

After a few minutes, the food was finally done and you were both surprised at how good you actually did. You place the food on the table and got the drinks out as well. "Alright, let's go wake them up now," Albert says smiling as you agree. You both walk off in different directions as you enter Aija's room and get to her bed shaking her awake, "Aija wake your ass up the food is ready!" "I'd rather starve" she replied yawning with her eyes still closed. You stood there annoyed as you grab her arm and pull her out of bed. "Ok ok fine!" she yawned whipping her eyes as she stands up. "Meet us in the dining room," you say smiling sarcastically walking out the room to go wake up Raven.

Everyone eventually fully wakes up and sits down at the dining table to eat. "Wow this is surprisingly good," Jake says taking another bite of his burger. "I know, I poisoned it," you say smirking taking a bite of your burger as well. "At least I'll die happy," he said sarcastically taking another bite. You and Albert laugh to yourselves as you all continue to talk and make jokes. After dinner, you were all really tired so you decided to start getting ready for bed. You realized that your flamingo plusher was on the floor next to your suitcase in the corner, so you picked it up and put it on the bed with you. You were kind of embarrassed, but you really liked stuffed animals, especially this one.

*time skip*

The morning finally arrived and after you all got ready you made it out the door to catch your uber. You've already texted your parents that you're on your way, you knew they said to meet at dinner but it was already 12pm so you thought it'd be better to arrive early. All of you finally reached the destination and the house was bigger than you expected, your dad told you that they've both got new jobs but you didn't expect the payment to be this much. "Woahh this is your parent's house?!" Jayden asks surprised as he got out of the car. "I'm surprised too, but yep!" you answer pushing open the gate. "They must be millionaires or something" Jake adds looking around. You laugh to yourself wondering if they really are, you never asked what the jobs were.

You make it to the big wooden door and ring the doorbell as you step back waiting for them to open the door. Although you didn't know why, you were kind of nervous, you haven't seen them in person for a while. After a few seconds, the door opens to your mom with a happy look on her face, "Oh hi y/n you finally made it I'm so happy to see you!" She suddenly hugs you really tight as you hug her back and struggle to say, "Hey mom, uh, you're kind of chocking me" She let go and laughed to yourself as she looks back to see your friends standing there waving, "Oh come in everyone make yourselves at home! Y/n's dad is in the kitchen!" Everyone greets her as you all make your way to the couch and sit down. "You have a nice place by the way ms L/n, you guys must be rich!" Raven compliments her looking around once more.

You hear your dad from a distance in the kitchen as he says sarcastically, "Thanks! We kill people for money!" "What?!" you and your friends say in sync as your mom laughs to herself, "He's kidding, we have a really good job someone had offered us" Your dad finally comes out and surprisingly hands you all hot chocolate! You each thank him as both your mom and dad sit on the couch in front of you guys as you all strike up a conversation. Your mom turns to Albert and asks, "Oh is this the boyfriend who got the tickets for you guys?" You both almost choked on your drinks as you quickly say, "I never said he was my boyfriend!" You hear the others laugh to themselves and slowly turn to them to give them the death stare as they stop. At this point, you were just embarrassed but the situation was kind of funny so you laughed a bit as well. "Whoops sorry didn't mean to embarrass you" your mom replied laughing as well. You shrugged it off and turned to Albert whose face was almost completely red, you didn't think much of it so turned back to your mom, "Oh, who offered you the job?" you ask curiously. "Well this really nice friend of mine, Mr.Fox."

You all froze for a bit and looked at each other when you heard the last name,~but what are the chances~, you thought to yourself, you haven't told either of your parents about the bullying since they most likely wouldn't believe you anyway But your mom then added, "He said he had a daughter about your age, she even goes to the same school as you, Id bet you and her would make great friends! Which is why I invited them to come eat dinner with us tonight, isn't it wonderful!" "You what??" you asked not knowing what was going on. "Oh god-" you hear Albert sigh to himself putting his cup down. "But mom I thought you said it was just gonna be us" you add hoping she would make them cancel. "I know sweetie but wouldn't it be great for you to meet new people?" your dad says happily getting up to put his cup away.

This wasn't at all what you expected, out of all the people, why Kirsten's dad?! You had so many questions and now you were just stressed out. "You could see everyone's faces and they were the same as yours, you didn't know what to do at this point. "Albert did you know Kirsten's dad owned a company?!" you whisper kind of loudly to him. "Yea but I never knew he worked here!" he whispered back. You were about to say something back when yo mom called out, "I'm going to be in the backyard, call me if you need anything!" "Alright!" you say quickly putting a smile on your face as she got up and walked out the door. Your smile quickly faded as you hid your face in your hands worried about what's going to happen. "This was not what I expected.." Aija sighed in a stressful tone. "What are we gonna do now?" Kaden asked worriedly. You took your face out of your hands and answer, "It's only for a couple hours, we should be fine! We just need to try to ignore her and not do anything that she could use to blackmail us" "Yea it'll be fine don't worry about it" Albert says smiling trying to lighten the mood.

But little did you know, it wasn't going to be that easy.
