||Car Ride||

After a couple of hours, it was now 1:20 and you guys decided it was time to go. Everyone cleans up the house a bit, grabs their stuff, then walks out the door to Jakes's car. "I'll text Jayden that we're on our way," Aija says to you pulling out her phone. "Alright," you say smiling opening the car door. Everyone gets in the car, his car was pretty big so you could all fit. Since the car had 8 seats, you Albert and Raven sat in the middle row, Aija sat in the back, Jake drove of course, and Kaden sat in the passenger seat."Try not to kill us ok?" Kaden says putting on his seat belt. "I'm not promising anything," Jake says sarcastically turning on the car. "Are you sure you wanna be in the back? I'm pretty sure there's room over here for you" you say to Aija turning around. "Nah I'm fine back here, not only do I got more room, I can annoy you," she says sarcastically smiling putting in her seatbelt. "Uhh alright then," you say laugh a bit sitting back down. "You guys ready?" Jake says excitingly. "Yes just hurry up!" Raven says laughing. "Alright alright," Jake says backing out of the driveway.

You got out your earphones and put them on so you could listen to your own music while the radio played on the way there. You put on your favorite song and starting scrolling through your phone due to boredom until you feel a tap on your shoulder. You take out one of your earphones from your ear and see that Aija got out of her seat. "Aija put your seat belt back on," you say to her as she was right over your shoulder. "You got games on yo phone?" she says sarcastically trying to hold back her laugh. "Wh- no sit down," you say laughing at what she said. She laughs as she sits back down in her seat. You put your earphones back in to listen to your playlist.

A few minutes past and you guys were on the freeway. Everyone was either on their phones or talking and annoying each other. Luckily Aija was busy messing with Raven and not you, so you could listen to your music peacefully. You had the window seat so you decided to rest your head on your hand like you usually do, when you feel another person trying to get your attention. You turned to see who was tapping you and it was Albert. "What're you listening to?" he asks smiling. "Music" you answer sarcastically looking back at your phone. "Well duh, what song?" he asks laughing a bit. "You probably wouldn't like it," you say continuing to scroll through your phone. "Let me listen to it then I'll decide for myself," he says signaling to give him one of the earphones. "Fine, but don't blame me if it's trash," you say hesitantly taking out your earphone and giving it to him.

He grabs it and puts it in his ear as you go back to laying your head on your hand and scroll through your phone. You were kind of worried about his reaction but it's been a couple of minutes and he still listened to the songs, which is a good sign. "Your music taste is actually pretty good," he says smiling at you. "Oh, really?" you say slightly smiling back not thinking he would like it. "Yea really," he says sarcastically keeping the earphone in his ear. You were happy he actually liked your music taste and before you could say anything else, Aija popped up out of nowhere looking over the seat. "What do you want now," you ask kind of annoyed from the jump scare. "I just wanted to see what was going on jeez," she said laughing a bit. "Nothings going on," Albert says laughing at her. "Yea ok sureee," she says suspiciously. "And can you not stay in your seat for at least 5 minutes?" you ask sarcastically laughing a bit, "Watch when the car crashes and you fly out the window"

"Well even if that does happen, I'll be fine," she says sarcastically, "And where's your other earphone?" "I gave it to Albert," you say pointing to him. "See I told you something was going on," she says smirking. "What are you talking about?" Albert asks confused. "Didn't you know music is a love language" she answers sarcastically, "Don't blame me when you both fall in love" You could see Albert turn red and turn back forwards to try and hide it. "It's just music-" you say kind of embarrassed. "Just shut the fuck up and sit down," you say laughing trying to hide it. She laughs a bit and sits back down to go on her phone. You turn back to look out the window to try to forget about that awkward moment,

I mean I know Aija's kidding but- why did Albert turn red-

He was probably just embarrassed, it's nothing- but why did it feel like I had butterflies in my stomach when she said that-?

You try to figure things out in your head and didn't realize you pulled up into a parking spot. You snap out of your thoughts as you hear Jake say, "We're here!" You turn to him in excitement as everyone starts quickly getting their things and getting out the car. "Finally!" Raven says closing the car door. Everyone gets out as Jake locks the door. "So is Jayden here yet?" Kayden asks Aija looking around. "Yea he said he's waiting for us inside," she says checking her phone. "Alright then let's hurry up already!" Raven says excitingly pushing them through the door. You laugh at her actions as you start walking towards the door. Albert walks next to you and says, "Wow she's really excited isn't she" "Yep" you say jokingly. "Oh and here's your other earphone by the way," he says smiling handing it to you. "Oh, I forgot about that, thanks," you say taking it from his hand and putting them away. You walk inside the giant arcade and instantly hear people and the sound of games everywhere.

"Oh hey, guys!" You hear a voice calling you guys so you turn to see Jayden waving standing next to the ticket booth. "Hey Jayden!" Albert says waving back. You all walk up to him and greet each other. "Cmon let's get our game cards so we can hurry up and play," you say wanting to play some games already. "Ok ok," Jake says laughing at you as he starts to walk to the sign-in area. You all pay for your cards and walk to where all the games were, there were hundreds! "You ready to lose?" Albert says sarcastically to you. You look at him bravely and answer, "Bring it on."
