More days went by, and it was still the same. No matter how much you and your friends laughed together, the feeling was still there. You were hoping today would be the last day you'd have to feel like this, because today, was prom.

"Oh my god I'm so excited I've been waiting for this day my whole life!" Aija blurted out on the phone excitingly. You and the rest of your friends decided to call a couple hours before the big event actually started as you sat in your PJs on your bed playing Roblox. "I mean it's not that exciting" Jayden added jokingly.

You: "Isn't this what every high schooler has been waiting for?"

Raven: "And what's there not to be excited about?!"

Jayden: "People"

Aija: "Oh come on stop being such a baby there's not even that many people"

Albert: "Plus it should be fun, they probably have a bunch of desserts there too"

Jayden: "Yea but like... social interaction-?! No."

Kaden: "You don't have to talk to anybody ya know"

Albert: "Dude it's not that bad just- have fun!"

You: "Yea we're all gonna hang out afterward anyway- OH MY- I LITERALLY HATE YOU YOU PIECE OF-"

Aija: "What are you screaming about!"

You: "Sorry- tower of hell-"

Albert: "I wish they had guns in that game-"

You: "You say that all the time-"

Jayden: "Another reason why I'm terrified of you"

Aija: "You're terrified of everything"

Jayden: "Well it's not my fault the world is horrifying"

Kaden: "Especially when Albert has an obsession with guns-"

Albert: "That's because I'm a true American."

Aija: "Sometimes- I wonder if we need to take you to seek help-"

Jayden: "Take him to the mental hospital already"

Albert: "I'll bring guns and force them to give me Robux gift cards."

Kaden: "Wha-"

Raven: "At this point, it's too late to save him-"

You: ".. I hate this game and everyone in it. I want to explode this entire server."

Jayden: "Oh great another psychopath"

You: "They deserve it! If only Roblox wasn't censored-"

Aija: "Or maybe you just suck at the game"

You: "Say that again. I dare you. I know your address."

Kaden: "Woah Woah Woah ok calm down before you guys end up in jail"

Albert: "I vote to kill off Aija"

Aija: "What?! Yea ok vouch for your girlfriend I don't care"

Raven: "Wait they're dating who was ganna tell me?!"

You/Albert: "What we're not dating!"

Jayden: "... Yet"

Albert: "You know what, I vote to kill you off too"

Aija: "This ain't eviction notice-"

You: ".. Aija, I hope the next time you warm up a hot pocket it's still cold on the inside when you take a bite out of it."

Jayden: "Now that's low"

Albert: "It had to be said"

Kaden: "Hold on that's way too far"

Aija: "Ok Mr. I like pineapple pizza"

Kaden: "At least I don't think cereal is a soup"

Raven: "Again, it's a salad"

Jayden: "Please no I don't want to go through this torture again"

Aija: "Fine, we'll settle this later. Wait- what time is it anyway?"

Albert: "Saturday"

Aija: "Wow.. thanks.."

Aija: "... It's already 6:30 pm?! Prom starts at 8- I gotta go get ready"

Raven: "Oh shoot already?! Alright, imma go too, I'll talk to you guys later!"

Jayden: "Alright same,"

Kaden: "Ok bye guys!"

*raven left the call*
*jayden left the call*
*kaden left the call*

Aija: "Oh wait y/n is Jake still coming?"

You: Oh uh... yeah, I guess- I'm not sure-"

Aija: "Alright well- when you find out text me"

You: "Sure thing, I'll- talk to him-"

Aija: "Alrighty, thanks! Talk to you later!"

You: "Ok see ya-!"

*aija left the call*

Albert: "Don't worry, we'll talk to him soon, but for now, let's have some fun! We don't have that much longer of high school left to go anyways-"

You: "Yea you're right- it's just- I've been beating myself up about it ever since it happened it's kinda like-"

Albert: "I know how you feel and I feel bad about it too, but you can't keep blaming yourself, so go start getting ready idiot don't bail on me"

You: "Ok ok- see you in a couple hours"

Albert: "See ya!"

*albert left the call*

And with that being said, you took a deep breath as you happily got up to start getting ready. To every other high schooler, this is one of the most exciting experiences of their senior year! But for you, this was going to be one of the worst days of your life.
