Ron didn't know what he was going to do about the whole deatheater thing. What could he do to give him long enough to check if Blaise is a deatheater? And how would he go about doing it anyway? The school robes had long sleeves. He'd have to get too close to Zabini for his liking. What did Harry expect him to do? Roll up his sleeve when he wasn't looking?! It sounded ridiculous (and it was) but honestly Ron wasn't sure he had a better option.
Seven days had passed and to be honest Ron was procrastinating thinking about it. He would just have to find some way to do it when he was there later today. Ron hadn't been about to fully focus on anything all week because of this. He barely talked to the guy, how was he supposed to get close enough to- the last time they talked hung in his mind.
He remembered every single detail and he hated it. He didn't know why it was cemented into his head, it lasted a literal second and suddenly it was all he could think about. He hated Blaise for it. He hated his stupid face, with his fervent brown eyes that stared through him. His- annoying little smirk that he had when Ron was irritated. He could have had an idea by now if it wasn't for Blaise hanging out in the back of his head. One decent idea and he could find out if he was a deatheater and finish this cursed project.
Despite his effort- Ron hadn't had a better idea than just figure it out when he was there- and it was 7. "Oh great." He thought, his words dripping with sarcasm, "Time to meet up with Blaise." He yet again trod up the three flights of stairs- which he was sure tried to throw him off the side when they switched- to reach entrance to The Room Of Requirement.
As expected, there was Blaise- standing with his back against the wall. When he saw Ron that smirk grew on his face again. "I was afraid you wouldn't show up Weasley." He began.
Ron enquired, "Why wouldn't I?" What was that about? Was it is about what happened last time? He knew Blaise could see right through him. Blaise interrupted his thoughts, "Well you are fifteen minutes late, I know you're rather uncivilised but I still expect you to arrive you know."
"At least I don't look down on everyone like they're dirt." Ron claimed, "and I did arrive, I'm here aren't I?"
"Barely." Blaise remarked.
Ron started,"Can we just go inside already?"
"Ok,"Blaise mocked, "didn't mean to upset you-" Ron glared at him.Closing his eyes- Ron imagined the room from last week. He couldn't picture anything else anymore so it didn't matter. Only five seconds
later he opened his eyes to the familiar glow from the fireplace. He stepped through the door after Blaise and closed it behind him. The heat of the fireplace immediately hit him in the face. He didn't remember it being this hot last time. He looked over at Blaise who was sitting down and staring into the flames. Did he really alter the heat of the room? Why? Blaise catches Ron watching him and turns to face him with a slight smile on his lips.
