In the midst of the day, at the park, right when the sun has reached its apex
I am surrounded with different people and colors and its aspects
Lovers, elders, families and children
Just by the bench reading the novel that I thought would change my life
As I finished my book with a flourish, my head was aimed by a bursting kite
Tried to ease the pain but the child's apologies healed it with a snap of a finger
I crouched to wiped the tears of the little boy
But it brought back the years that I've been trying to move on
Those sky blue eyes matching with the snow white skin and dark hair
Those teary diamond eyes beamed flashing lights
My pupils widened and my chest tightened
Embracing the contraption, flashbacks of that aquamarine sight.Summer of 2009, polka-dot dress and colorful kites
The breeze of the summer air, the beachfront of Aunt Dolor
A sip of coconut juice and a slip to the men's bathroom
I caught you peeing and accidentally saw it
It was a cobra, a boa, or maybe a python
I lost track of what happened, but that was a half cock sight
The coco was actually buko loco, it was champagne and now I'm in a no-go
I knew being in this beach is a tragedy since the get-go
But I have to live on with it and pray that nothing is going to get more wrong
We laughed about it and knew that this is going to be an interesting song. After a dozen chapters we became a couple
Loved the danger and that double Dutch trouble
We rented a house and earning money with that lawn mower
Neither did I know that you're mowing other girls like how I mow the neighbor's meadow
Those strumpets are more viscous than a regular hoe
Burned the mailbox and replaced my diamonds with coals
Left that fucked up town and burned his bed and hid the keys in the hidden holeI received a letter, saying it's not me it was him
That lame excuse and remembered that savage grin
Mails about apologies filled my mailbox even the next door inn
He thought I was dumbfounded but neither did he knew I was just tipsy, I'm actually keen
Left the country and now I'm living in London, never to be seen.He tried to contact me, but hell no
I've already moved on like I'm supposed
So stop with the "sorry" and "I'm not letting you go"
Because life is already messy to put you in the spotlight and become my personal chaffeur.Lights dimmed, and I'm staring at a blank page
A page of a child because he might thought I'm dead
I snapped out and a man lifted me up, it was 'him' and that's 'his' son?
He immediately hugged me and tucked in too tight
I said "Stop! Don't you have a wife"
He chuckled, it's his nephew and he's always kind
I immediately tried to runaway but he tightened his grip
He explained and I embarrassingly exclaimed
He never really cheated and the pictures were fake
"Who told you that rumor?"
I said the neighbor's name and her meadows
He said it was aunt Dolor's sister and she want us ending with me leaving you alone.
