6. Golden Crush

Never have I ever loved someone so long and true
Like three years ago, so innocent and literally had no clue
Clue about the dangers of infatuation and the endless sacrifices for love
The suffering, the pain, the never-ending feeling of being so blue
But now I don't take it too seriously, because there's no infidelity
My crushes are multiple but my heart is for you and you can claim it whenever you wanted to.

Each section, one crush, each moment, one rose blush
Different personalities, different calamities, but  different shades of roses
Red for the clingy and flirtatious, white for the kindhearted and solicitous
Lips like rose quartz, heart like a pearl, but you're still my cherished gem
Deep blue eyes like a sapphire, I like you because you always make my heart on fire
You burn these firewood veins for the passionate fire, lit up my world like a fireworks display
Can't stop staring to your diamond gaze, your words are like dollar bills that eases the pain
That onyx hair and snow-like skin, a ruby-like blazing stare for a sixteenth man
I forgot to tell you, I have sixteen options, all of them are in line just in case your heart is reserved.

I also have a dark, tall, and handsome man, that always gives me the adrenaline
The almost kisses by a hair, don't think those glossy lips are all I care
I also have the blonde exchange student, those emerald eyes and rogue stares
But have in mind that you are my golden crush and I can't wait to live in your love lair
I don't care which is more valuable, gemstones or minerals, because your smiles are my jewels
It may seem cliché, but sweet young love is something you could not put a mature taste
I live in an age that destiny and love are best friends.

You're everybody's gold rush, but you're my one and only golden crush
No one could ever replace you, those black diamonds for eyes
Your gleams that always makes me fly high like a kite
But my love for you is at the attic with broken stairs
Can't reach, can't go back, because it's dangerous and unsafe
For the first time, you spoke to me like it was an important call
But you actually just wanted to borrow my pen and spoke nothing else
I let my guard down and lifted my hopes too high, but the fall is not as catastrophic than before
But you grabbed my wrist and ran through the crowd, to the back of the classroom
The rotation of the Earth's axis is on a slower pace
The speed of my fall suddenly had a parachute
But am I able to land myself safely to the ground?

"Wag kang magmadali dahil ikaw rin and masasaktan sa huli"
Those words are on repeat in my mind, as you run like a comet in the sky
I've waited for three years, is this it? Or I'm imagining it all over again
I don't want to assume because I don't want my heart to be doomed
You stopped running but my heartbeat couldn't stop throbbing
The silence between us is troubling
You're catching your breath but I'm trying to catch my heart to put it on the right track
But my head and heart is like a broken record
Your name, my dreams, your smiles, my psychological screams
Are on repeat, deafening but gleaming
You state the condition of your heart
An unexplainable feeling, beating hearts like cheetahs
An urge to love like piranhas, I'm speechless from your speech
Somebody loves me all along.

Somebody who prays for my happiness when I'm dismayed
Somebody who secretly gazes while I glare at somebody else
You are my somebody and you are not just my anybody anymore
A kiss is too soon so you hugged me and it so warm it can defeat the cold monsoon
All I want is to end up in your conversations babe
Cause all I want is to compensate you, compensate you
Now that you're definitely mine, I won't let it just go
Say goodbye to the sixteen men, they don't even know me anyway
Seventeenth's time a charm, a love so sweet it couldn't give you any harm
Your golden hush, always makes my cheeks blush
My golden love, changes the shades from blue to red as our noses brush
