AUGUST 3, 1978
The world around her was dark and wet, her hands were shackles against the stone wall. Blood dripped from her scars, her head pounded so hard her senses weakened. She squinted, watching Voldemort threw the blurry lenses that were her eyes. Her ear rang out of control and the words are spoken around her were fuzzy, nothing but inaudible sounds and bright lights within the darkness consumed her.
She couldn't move her body but she could feel the damp stone floor against her knees. If her arms weren't imprisoned by the chains that hung above her, her body would be against the dirty ground.
Her eyes flickered open and closed as a spell was cast and a bright purple light filled her eyes and truck her body. She could feel the purple light hit her chest and soak into her skin, the heat stung as it flowed through her veins and filled her heart with evil, dark magic.
She tried to scream and beg for Voldemort to stop but she couldn't speak, she couldn't move. Her mind told her to run but her body wouldn't follow. She closed her eyes and screamed stop over and over in her mind until her body shot up from the hospital bed.
Her eyes reopened and for a moment she thought she was back in the manor because all she could see was darkness. The darkness filled the small room, blinding her from the right to control over her own eyes. Sweat dripped from her forehead and her heart pounded in her chest. The heels of her hands rubbed her eyes adjusting to her sudden consciousness. Her breathing was heavy and rippled in her sore throat every few seconds.
Her eyes felt wet with tears, terrified that she was back in that room, strung up like a puppet for Voldemort to test his dark magic on and entertainment for his follows as she sat still and cold for days on end.
It wasn't until she heard a voice cast the Lumos charm when her surroundings cleared and her vision returned.
The light at the tip of a wand shown bright from across the room. She shuffled back against the headboard of her hospital bed, she hugged her knees from underneath a thin blanket. She could tell by the warmth of the air around her and the arms of both sleeping Remus and Lily that lay sprawled out beside her feet.
Her flashback disguised as a nightmare that awakened her from her rest caused an internal anxiety attack and she couldn't help but feel her mind start to attack her as she began to hyperventilate.
It was too quiet.
The quiet only brought her back to the loneliness on her dungeon.
She started rocking her body back and forth as she gripped her shins tighter and mumbled inaudible words under her breath until a voice interrupted her.
From across the room, the caster of the Lumos charm began quietly shushing her, hoping to calm the traumatized girl down.
"shh shh shh, It's okay, your okay" The voice assured her as they got up from their chair and walked over to her. The figure sat on the edge of her bed wary of not waking up the others. The light moved from the man's face revealing familiar shoulder-length black hair and the square bone structure of Sirius Black.
