Its been a month since 'the prank' and Aurora, Remus and Lily sat in the library finishing up their astronomy homework,
"You know Remus, I'm surprised you took astronomy," Lily said finishing the last sentence of her star chart essay.
Remus and Aurora looked at her confused, "why is that surprising" he asked.
"you know cause of the werewolves thing..." Remus' hand froze in place, ink from his freshly dipped quill dripping on his parchment. Aurora began to choke on her water she had snuck past madam Pince, " I would have thought study about different moons would upset you"
"w-what?" he stuttered.
"How did you?" Aurora looked at Lily with a dead expression on her face, Lily hadn't seen Aurora look this serious in years. When she saw her best friend's stunned look, she realized what she had said was insensitive.
"oh- oh Remus sorry I didn't mean to blurt that out like that, I promise it doesn't bother me at all"
He looked around the library to see if there was anyone close enough to them to hear, then ducked his head down slightly and began to speak in a hushed volume,
"Lily you can't tell anyone, please... if you don't want to be friends with me anymore I'll understand but please don't say anything"
"Remus I've known for a while and I haven't told anyone I'm not about to do that now... besides why would stop being friends with you? you're the only marauder I can stand" she joked.
Remus's shoulders relaxed and he let go of a long breath as he thanked the redhead.
"how long have you known?" Aurora asked the question both she and Remus wondered.
"I've suspected it for about a year now since Remus and I started prefect duties together... I found it odd how he only ever skipped them was on full moons, the a realized he's been missing classes around the full moons since the first year... but then when you came back to our dorm last full moon it confirmed it for me"
She put down her quill and looked at Remus, putting her hand on his and gave him a smile to show him it was alright. Aurora sat back in her seat her tongue trancing over her top teeth and she chuckled to herself shaking her head,
"I gotta say, I expected you to figure it out sooner" she smiled shaking her head, "I mean c'mon Lily you're supposed to be the smart one between us, and yet I managed to figure it out in a second year"
Lily took offence to this in the slightest and scoffed, "well how would I have, I don't watch Remus every move like you do, now do I?"
Aurora's mouth hung open as she let go of a breathe that mimicked a laugh, her cheeks turning bright pink as Remus turned to smirk at her,
