The amount of math I did for this chapter is both unacceptable and unbelievable. I now have a raging headache :D Anyway, if the calculations are wrong, hopefully you can at least guess my intentions. Let's pretend there's no grammatic/spelling mistakes :) Please don't pick me apart LMAO. It took me like 3 hours to write this *cries in not having a life*

After a long discussion with Terano that morning, Yumeko and her agreed on players as well as the time of the gamble. Despite her best efforts, Terano ended up choosing the content of their gamble, but she was sure she'd make due.

When all of her classes ended that day, Yumeko grabbed Mary's wrist, albeit gently, and dragged her along to the location they'd decided on. Usually, the two didn't make physical contact at school, but it was no secret to the school that Yumeko was touchy with Mary. To summarize, no one would question Yumeko dragging her around, especially with the way Mary was complaining.

"Yumeko, I have legs you know! I can keep up," she complained, rolling her eyes.

"Yeah, but this gives us an excuse to touch," Yumeko said just so Mary could hear. Mary grumbled something under her breath, but she stopped complaining.

When they arrived at the location, Terano was waiting for them as well as Itsuki and the woman who was always with Terano. For whatever reason, Yumeko just couldn't remember her name.

"I see you finally decided to show up," Terano said disdainfully to Yumeko. Mary scowled at Terano, but it seemed the other woman didn't notice.

"Of course," Yumeko smiled happily, "I wouldn't miss this for the world."

The decided people for the gamble were Yumeko, Mary, Itsuki, Miraslava Honebami, and Ibara Obami. Unexpectedly, after telling her plans to Itsuki, the girl insisted on having Kaede there as well. Since Yumeko's gamble with him, he'd apparently 'lost all hope', and Itsuki thought bringing him into another gamble in which he might win would be beneficial. Seeing as she felt a little guilty for his ruin, Yumeko easily agreed, and after informing Terano, the two decided it would be allowed.

"We're here," Ibara Obami announced loudly as he threw the doors open.

"What's she doing here?" Miraslava asked with distaste in her tone as her eyes fell onto Yumeko.

"She's gambling with us, of course," Terano answered smoothly.

"Pfft," Ibara huffed loudly, "What help could she be?"

"Don't underestimate her, Ibara," Terano said firmly, "That's just what she wants from you."

"I bet she just wants the throne, so she can finally feel like she has control of something," he spat.

"Oh stop acting like she killed your dog in front of you," Miraslava droned, "She just wants to gamble against Kirari to prove she's worth something."

"If that's what she wanted to do, she would've done it already," Terano said calmly, "Obviously, she has her own agenda."

They seemed to reluctantly accept this as they looked over the other players. "Ah, Saotome Mary. We meet again," Miraslava said with a smile.

"So we do," Mary said evenly. Yumeko gave her a curious look, but Mary just waved her hand dismissively.

"So that's Saotome's kid?" Ibara asked. He had heard about the older Saotome and knew he had a daughter, but he had never actually met Mary before.

"Unfortunately," Mary confirmed.

"Unfortunate? You dad's a damn good gambler," Ibara defended the man, "I'm sure he's better than some people in the clan." As he said that, he shot an accusatory look at Yumeko who just smiled, unfazed.
