Marcus Graves was Jacob's best friend throughout elementary school and middle school. High school is where it went downhill. As Jacob began training to be the new Alpha Marcus became jealous. Being Jacob's beta wasn't enough for it. So what did he do? He made J's life hell. It got to the point he had to do online school for a few years due to Marcus attending the same school. What he doesn't remembers is he has know Marcus since childhood. Jacob only felt comfortable going back once Marcus had moved away. His sister Carolyn also begged him to come back to school to protect her from these three girls she's terrified of. One being her former friend Veronica. (We'll get into this more later on) Anywho back to Marcus and Jacob. Unknowingly Marcus had created his own pack and took over Gabrielle's old pack's house and modified the basement.
