                               Gabrielle's POV
A few days after Cody turned 14 we noticed he started getting into music. He started singing and he's actually really good. A year later before he turned 15 someone at his school's concert  who happened to an manager at a record label in New York had asked if we would like to schedule a meeting. He flew us out to New York. Cody ended up signing with them but didn't want to rush into anything so he stayed quiet. He  didn't fully take it up until he was 16. Most of his songs are about River. Which you can probably understand why. He wrote one song about Lilah. His songs are innocent just like he is. For his 16th birthday he did a mini concert at a mall.

We hoped River ended us being his mate. He obviously has a crush on her. The amount of songs this child has written about her. She's the reason he started writing songs. She convinced him to do everything he does now. We were so happy when they found out they were mates. They're inseparable. They're basically attached to one another. At his first show she was screaming her lungs out. I could tell it meant the world to him. During sound check she's always the first one to check the microphone. She's scared to say who she is. She's worried about what everyone will think about her.

She doesn't think anyone will be supportive. She knows everyone is after Cody. We all know he won't push her to do something she's uncomfortable with. They're so cute together. Everyone that knows Cody knows he'll do anything to protect River. He doesn't want anything to do with this whole singing career if it means losing her. He'd give it all up in a second without thinking about it. She means everything to him. I see the way he looks at her. It's the same way Jake looks at me. Cody's been talking about proposing to her lately. He feels they're ready. He just needs to know if River feels the same way.

She's completely changed him in a good way. Before her he didn't speak much. He was scared to get close to people. She was the only one he would talk to about everything. Her trust is so important to him. He knows she'd never intentionally hurt him. That's how I know he'll do anything for this girl. They hardly argue and if they do they resolve it calmly. He doesn't use his alpha voice. They talk it out. He never snaps at her. I'm serious when I say this. She's his world. I'm glad they found each other.
