River's POV
"Looks like your father finally fell asleep. I heard everyone talking about you. Especially daddy. You want to know what I think? I think you're going to be the family's little secret. Actually I know for a fact you will be. I think you're gonna have your dad wrapped around your tiny fingers. I know he mentioned this to you but hopefully you're really close with your brother. I'm close with one of your uncles and your dad's close with one of your aunts."
"River please be quiet. I'm trying to sleep."
"Right my bad. What time do you want me to wake you up? It's 12 right now."
"2:30."
"now we need to be quiet so we don't disturb him again."
She fell asleep again until Cody woke up. It's like she knew he was awake. At one point the three of us fell asleep. Onyx was brought to the hospital to meet her. He seemed happy. Let's hope it stays like this. Nyx was a little unsure of Amicia at first.
"Be careful. She's fragile. Oh right you don't know what that means yet. You can hurt her if you're not careful."
He put his hands down and hopped off the bed.
"You can come here. Cody put him back on the bed."
A little while later we heard screaming coming from down the hall.
"That doesn't sound like any of our siblings."
"Cody. Block the door. I see cameras flashing."
Cody ran over to the door and held the doorknob. People started banging on the door.
"What do we do?"
"I don't know! I don't fuc-fricking know!"
"This hospital needs better security. Can you get a restraining order against a bunch of fans and or paparazzi?"
"I wish. How did they even find us?"
"Someone who works here must have leaked it."
"The room number too?!"
"Most likely."
"CODY! ITS LILAH! LET ME IN!!"
I moved so my back would be facing the door.
"GET OFF HER!"
"AH! Hey! Give me back my shoe!"
I heard the door slam shut.
"Aunt Deli!"
"Dude I think half of Jersey is out there."
"That bad?"
"River it looks like a rave in the hallway."
"Okay did anyone else hear that?"
"LET US IN!"
"THEY HAVE A BULLHORN?!"
"Oh god they're singing."
"THIS IS NOT A CONCERT!"
