A couple years later the twins were 4,Cody was 17, Delilah was 14, and Marinette was 3.

Cody now knows the full story about the entire Marcus situation. Delilah knows too. She insisted she was old enough to know. So we told the two of them at the same time.

"I get why you didn't want us to know until we were older."

"I'm sorry I kept begging you to tell me."

"It's okay. You wanted to know. I think we just didn't want to relive it."

"So do you guys hate me or?"

"No! Why would we hate you Cody?"

"I don't know."

"We love all five of you."

"I know this is off topic but. There's something you need to know."

"Do not tell them Cody."

"I kinda have to."

"Please don't."

"Kids? What's wrong?"

"Nothing!"

"Delilah Rose stop hiding something."

"Cody don't say anything! I'll give you my allowance if you don't! They can't find out!"

"Too bad. They're gonna find out."

"If one of you doesn't say something you're both grounded."

Cody took a deep breath.

"There's these girls. They keep giving Lilah problems."

"Who is their mom?"

"Someone named Star Harrison."

"CODY GOT SUSPENDED!"

"Oh for fucks sake Lilah. It happened a few weeks ago when you were out of town."

"He cursed!"

"He doesn't do it much and he's allowed to."

"But Cody got suspended!"

"We'll come back to that. Let me guess. Their mom has red hair."

"How'd you know?"

"Because that's who gave me crap in school."

"Cody why'd you get suspended?"

"He got in a fight."

"About what with who?"

"I got in a fight with Carson Wright over River."

"And why did you guys fight about River?"

"Cody tell them."

"I'm not ready to."

Gabrielle and I mindlinked each other with the same answer.
