HAPPY VALENTINES DAY 💜

Sorry this one took a while. I was suffering from writer's block again. I'm still suffering a little from it, so please be patient with me until I can get the next chapter out. Hopefully that won't be for a long time.

Hope you guys like the chapter.

Kaito felt incredibly sore when he finally opened his eyes. His head was pounding as if someone were using it as a drum. His entire body was in agony, especially at his waist and legs. He was laying face down on a hard, cold floor. He couldn't help but shiver a little from how cold it was. Did someone take his jacket? What happened to him? He was on the train. He was talking to Shuichi and Maki. That was when the train stopped suddenly. And when Tsumugi-no, Junko betrayed them all. The Exisals!

Kaito's eyes snapped open. He regretted it as he felt like his eyes were being burned. They were met with a bright and blinding white. Kaito closed his eyes before blinking them slowly open. His vision was a little blurry, seeing only white and blurred, coloured objects. Kaito kept blinking until his vision finally cleared up. Once it did, he noticed Rantaro and Kaede sitting next to each other, huddling in a way. There was something like a glass wall next to them. Kaito slowly sat up, groaning as he felt pain emitting from his legs, waist and head, the areas where he was hurt by the Exisal that grabbed him.

"Guys! He's awake!" Kaede shouted, breaking away from Rantaro and put her hands on the glass wall. "Kaito! Are you okay?"

"I'm good." Kaito said, trying to put on a brave face. He looked around. The room that he was in was completely white. Everyone else was here too. They were all in different square cells made of glass. Kaede and Rantaro; Kirumi and Ryoma; Angie, Kiyo and Tenko and Miu and Gonta. There was a screen at one end of the room, currently turned off. With how white everything else was, Kaito came to one conclusion. This had to be another location of the Facility. White previously mentioned it. So where were all the other Limitless?

Hearing a whimpering sound behind him, Kaito turned around. Behind him was Kokichi. He had his knees and his eyes were wide as his skin was as white as a sheet. The odd thing was is that his head was shaved. All of his hair was gone. Kaito quickly felt the top of his head, feeling nothing but incredibly short hair and a little bit of skin instead of his spiked up hair.

Kaito looked around again. Everyone was in almost the same state. They all had their heads shaved. They all had different and almost obvious injuries. Kaede and Miu had bandages wrapped around their necks. Rantaro had a bandage wrapped around his head. Both of Ryoma's legs were wrapped up in casts. Kirumi had one arm in a sling. Tenko had both of her hands wrapped up in bandages. Angie had a bandage wrapped around her head and both of her eyes. Kiyo had bandages covering the lower half of his face. Gonta had bandages wrapped around his torso. Only Kokichi didn't seem to have any injuries.

"Kokichi? What-" Kaito tried to ask. Before he could complete his question, the smaller boy suddenly leaped at him. Kaito was caught off guard when the boy suddenly hugged him tightly. As Kokichi wrapped his arms around Kaito, his body was shaking. Kaito knew that Kokichi was notorious for lying and having the habit of taking everyone's powers for fun. However, this felt horribly different. This trembling and whimpering that Kokichi was emitting seemed too real to be a lie. Kaito gently pulled away a little, causing Kokichi to look up him. He tried to smile, but his face suddenly looked like he was in pain. He looked like he was about to start crying. Upon a closer look, Kaito could see remains of dried blood on his chin.

"Kokichi? What's going on?" Kaito asked, trying his best not to look worried. Kokichi made incoherent sounds. Kaito didn't know if he was poorly trying to play a prank to lighten up the mood, but something told him that wasn't the case. Did they do something to his mouth?
