Thank you everyone for the patience. I hope that the wait was worth it for you all and that you all enjoy the future chapters. I don't know if this chapter is good, but I hope you all like it.
Maki didn't know why she was acting like this.
It was at least three days until her birthday, the day that Kaito promised that she would have fun on. He said that would be out by 6pm and try to find somewhere for them to celebrate her birthday. She didn't have a problem with being outside. If anything, she'd like to give it a try. However, she suddenly found herself having trouble with picking out something to wear. All that she had to wear was dark and red clothing. She didn't know why she was having a problem with this right now. She shouldn't do. It's not like she was trying to look attractive or anything. But something told Maki that she should try to make an effort to look less dark and gloomy. If clothing wasn't an issue then just trying to have fun with Kaito is. She doesn't know the first thing about having fun. She never had a chance to have fun. She never got to know how to be a normal girl. She didn't know how girls her age should act around friends, let alone if said friend was a guy.
Girls her age? Maki looked up at the ceiling of the basement.
Would they help her?

"And here is your card!" Himiko announced as she opened the book she was holding, revealing a playing card that had Kaede's signature on it. She wore a grey T-shirt with stars printed on it and a pair of jeans with brown shoes. Some of her hair was held back a little by a black headband with a blue jewel on it. The others were dressed similarly. Kirumi was in the kitchen area preparing some hot drinks for the girls and then start making some for the boys downstairs. She wore black jeans, black shoes and a grey shirt that had spider webs printed on it. She also wore a light purple scarf around her neck. Angie was sitting at the dining table, drawing in her sketchbook. She was wearing light blue quarter length shorts, a white crop top, white slip on shoes and a yellow artist's coat. She wore a pink 7 utility belt that was filed with carving tools and paint brushes. Tsumugi was also as the table, fixing up a brown haired wig in her hands. She wore blue jeans, black boots and a navy blue shirt that had an anime mech character on it. Her hair was normally down, but for the moment it was tied back to keep it out of the way while she worked on the wig. Miu was currently in a room that she shared with Kaede, working on a gadget that she was making. She was wearing a pink tank top and skinny jeans with black boots and fingerless gloves. She also wore goggles over her eyes as she worked. She didn't wear a jacket, which made Kaede wonder how on Earth she wasn't cold. Kaede wore a pair of purple jeans, brown boots and a white shirt with a pink sweater that had musical notes on it. Tenko wore a blue tracksuit and a black T-shirt with white trainers. She looked like she was getting ready to start working out on the training dummy that Miu helped to build for her.
"Himiko! That's so amazing! Your magic is the best!" Tenko squealed as Kaede took the card out of the book. Miu finally made herself known after storming out of her bedroom.
"Oh please! It's just slight of hand or some shit!" She shouted as she took the goggles off of her head.
"Nyeh?! No! It's not slight of hand! It's magic!" Himiko exclaimed, offended by what the inventor had just said.
"How dare you doubt Himiko?!" Tenko shouted, shaking a fist at Miu as she took the opportunity to defend Himiko.
"Oh, whatever!" Miu sighed dramatically as she flopped down onto a beanbag. Kaede tried to ignore the commotion as Kirumi finished in the kitchen, carrying a tray with everyone's drinks.
"Your drinks are ready." She politely annonced as she handed out the warm drinks that she had made.
"Kirumi, please sit down. You have to be exhausted from working non stop." Kaede offered. Kirumi had been working non stop since the Limitless had started living here. She has not had one day off. Kaede knows that she doesn't like taking days off, but she had a bad feeling that if Kirumi didn't take even five minutes of rest, she might get sick.
