Wow! I got this out quicker than I thought. Guess I got over my writer's block a bit.

Trigger warning: gore

"Seems like we might have used a bit too much."

White looked over Kaito as Sara shined a light into Kaito's eyes. The teenager was still strapped down to the table, but he wasn't struggling against them like he has done before. He had stopped screaming about a minute after shocking him. They gave him a break, letting him catch his breath, before shocking him again. And again. And again. He kept screaming every time but at the last two times, he had been mute. He was still. He wasn't dead, and he wasn't brain dead either. His pupils shrunk in response to the light, but he wasn't showing any other indication that he was semi responsive. It was like he had numbed in on himself.

"Doesn't matter. Extract his blood, same as the others." White shrugged, careless to Kaito's condition. So long as Kaito was still alive, they will still get what they wanted. "Then we'll give it to you, my dear. Junko?" As White turned around, he didn't seem the strawberry blonde Limitless in the room. She must have slipped away while everyone was distracted by the experiment on Kaito. But why would she leave so suddenly without everyone knowing? She was so keen for Kaito to go through this experiment, she even planned out how it was to be carried out. For her to leave that abruptly didn't make much sense. White was snapped out of his thoughts as the door was suddenly flung open. All the scientists looked to see a guard standing at the open doorway. Sweat dripped down from behind the visor on his helmet and his skin was pale. There was a stench of blood and death accompanied with him.

"Sir! The other Limitless! They-" he started, but he never got a chance to finish. There was a sickening sound of flesh being ripped as his body was suddenly torn in half at the waist. His body slumped to the ground before anyone could even gasp or scream. There was mere seconds of silence before the sound of slow footsteps filled the air. Everyone stepped back as Maki calmly walked into the lab, her shoes soaked in the guard's blood as she stepped past his remains. A horrifying chill swept throughout the room as Maki slowly scanned the room. She spotted Kaito on the table. Her glare sharpened as she saw his limp and seemingly lifeless body. Screams filled the air as all, but White and Sara, were ripped into two, just like the guard. The air was filled with the scent of blood. The pure white walls had the crimson liquid splattered all along them. The eyes of the scientists were wide and full of fear, even after being killed. Almost all of the pools of blood blended into once.

"Harukawa....how...lovely to see you again." White stammered, struggling to say the right words. Sara discreetly reached inside her coat, her fingertips brushing on her own baton. "This isn't the right time. So why don't you calm down and we can deal with you in a moment?" Maki glanced at Kaito again, deaf to what White was telling her. Kaito was so still. The only thing that showed that he was alive was the slow and rhythmic rise and fall of his chest. He hadn't said anything. Maki thought that he might be unconscious, but then she saw his eyes open. What did they do to him?

Maki didn't have much time to dwell on that. Sara rushed at Maki, thinking that she was too distracted to notice. She was wrong. Maki snapped her dark glare at the woman. Sara's body was forced to a stand still. Her weapon flew from her hands and was slammed into the floor, breaking into two. All the colour drained from Sara's face as Maki continued to glare at her. Sara had no time to think or even breathe as her body suddenly contorted in a way that the human body should bend. Her neck bended back until the back of his head touched his back. Her lower vertebrae curved backwards as the calfs of her legs bended forwards. Her thighs bended backwards as her arms looped around her back, locking her legs in place. The sound of Sara's bones snapping rang in the air. Her body was pretty much now a human bouncing ball as it was slammed into a wall for good measure. The woman will never move or breathe another day again. Maki however wasn't satisfied yet. She turned her glare to White, who had grown incredibly pale. He was shaking so much that it was a wonder as to how he was still standing.
